New console lunch level 10? You should have a blast. PC level 10? Not so good unless you play the sub vet server Blackwater.

Best class for pvp? Whatever class you like to play. All classes have equally op moments. Seriously if anyone tells you anything else, they are leading you astray.

Non vet is quite fun for alts or just your first try at PvP, although having said that, I never touched baby PvP till a few weeks ago on a alt sorc I am training but it is pretty fun.

And in answer to your question, it is up to you on whether you are "fine" in PvP.

If your build is ok and CP allocation is good, gear is good, if you have a grasp of PvP mechanics, then aye you will do good.

Pvp is fine at level 10, but much better when you get weapon swap at level 15. You should play in the non-vet campaign though because everyone has basically the same stats there so you won't get completely wrecked.

The best class for non-vet pvp is Dragon Knight, one reason for this is that you can get a lot of very strong abilities for pvp by the time you are level 25. You will have a heal, couple of shields, aoe root that does damage over time, instant cast ranged stun/root, ability to reflect ranged projectiles/spells, and a very nice melee range damage ability. Most DKs I see in non-vet have vastly higher survivability than other classes and can dish out a similar amount of damage, plus have strong cc once they get to about level 25.

Templar is also quite good in non-vet pvp, but your best skills take a long time to unlock (sun shield and the death ray thingy). Templar heals and support skills are also really handy in pvp.
