Loving it so far but without echoing the same as everyone else I want

    1. Damage/Healing info during fights (don't care about combat logs Just wanna see what the hell im doing)
    2. Minimap. The Elder scrolls style single line compass map is horrible, has always been horrible and always will be.
    3. Name plates above other characters and NPC's, at least give us the option to have it so we aren't running around to every single person trying to find the right one.
    4. Text chat for crying out loud!!!!

It was love at first sight, but it could've been because I was so excited for it and just wanted to get through the login wait... but yeah, been playing it as much as I can and I'm loving it. The graphics, the story, the lore, it's beautiful. I don't mind the chat and such, not so huge on being social at the moment.

(I also like that I can steal cheese. Favorite thing to steal!)

Awesome game, i think i will play this for a few years...
I played most mmo and single player rpgs since diablo 1... I played all games from blizzard, bethesda and bioware... And i think this is the game i like the most...

Of course, many things to improve, a few mechanics, skills redesign, menu, options left, etc

Aside that, great great game... I dont understand people complaining or low scores in reviews

Talking about reviews, i cannot ead gamespot again after a 10 to witcher 3... Worst game i ever played... I bought w3 and played for one day... After hours of running and watching cutscenes and dialogues, i quit eand sold the game...

Very fun. I can't judge the full game because I'm only level 12, but from what I've played I've enjoyed very much.
The biggest gripe I have is crafting supplies have my bank and inventory filled within minutes of leaving for a quest, but other than that the game is very fun. Provisioning supplies are the bane on my existence thus far.

Great game, but as I feared, there's very little content for single players.

I understand it's an MMO, but playing with other people should be an option, not a requirement. There aren't enough "instanced" areas for solo players or quests.

I'm not one of those guys that wanted Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim 2.0, I just want more solo-friendly activities.

If anyone feels like I might be overlooking stuff feel free to tell me. It would help.

I think it's getting low reviews because people are expecting another oblivion or skyrim, but that's not what it is. it'll be a long wait til elder scrolls 6

Are you serious? Most of this game is made for solo play. All of the leveling from level 1 to 50, the main story, the two guild quests, the Silver and Gold zones are either solo only (instanced) or solo friendly. With a good build and some practice, you can even go solo in many fights designed for group play: public dungeons, overworld bosses and dolmens.

The only time you need a group to stand a chance is in group dungeons and in Craglorn. And PvP in Cyrodiil is a special case, seeing how you need other players to have anything to fight. There are plenty of solo PvE quests and many nice solo dungeons even in Cyrodiil, though.

Its an ES game..what can I say, hehe.
I would disagree with you AnAngryGinger, in that there is a huge amount of content for single players! There is no requirement for anyone to play with others. The game is huge and as Soul Shriven you have barely scratched the surface yet, I promise you. :)

A couple of things I would love to see...ie: Player/guild housing, the ability to interact with chairs\ tables and so on. It would be fun to be able to sit on a bench in the markets and watch the comings and goings and antics. I need a bench to sit on so I can better enjoy watching new folks trying to kill guards!! LOL ;)
I'm having so much fun! The game has a few minor bugs, but what game doesn't on release? But those don't affect my enjoyment or immersion. I love it and no doubt will continue to for months, years to come.
    Enjoy your day everyone. :p

Its a good game for what it is. I enjoy it, the loot is awesome, combat is decent. Like most people I would prefer a chat box. Like most mmos inventory space always become a problem, but o boy wish more than ever my bags and bank have more space. I will play for awhile I'm sure, just minor lag on servers and such which I hope is fix soon.

So far I am loving it and can get really addicting cause I think I will play for an hour or two and next thing I know i been on for 4 hours lol. I love the fact I can throw all my resources in the bank and can use them whenever I want at the crafting tables. text chat would be nice, but right now not to big of an issue for me. Though not really enough enemies in the field. I will run for like 5 minutes and nothing to fight to test out my abilities....
PSN: blinkgirl211 - if try adding me send message first cause lots of random people always tries to add me...

Yes! Was just saying to my hubby last night that I wish I could sit on a bench and just watch what's going on for a bit! I think there might be an emote that lets you sit in some way but I've not got round to checking it out yet... too busy exploring the map! Such a beautiful game <3
  • Survivor_Chris
I really love it! Granted I'm only up to level 8 and have just left M'Kaiii (What a beautifull place!) The single player content is huge - not sure why people say there is no single player content? I haven't done anything with anyone else.. although I would love to!

Things that I think it's missing and I really hope they put in (Xbox 1) is a combat log of healing and damage, I have no idea what I'm doing other than making a red bar drop.

Combat mechanics, now don't get me wrong I love the combat - it's amazing - however there are some quest minibosses that you can essentially cheat tactically outmanoeuvre simply by running around them in a circle mashing the RT without receiving any damage back.

So yeah I love it, dare I say even more than skyrim

Vaseline Jelly - Breton Templar Restoration - Daggerfall

The combat mechanics become more complex in late game, and a few specific bosses on the way have some unique mechanics to overcome. Also, group dungeons will challenge you a bit. As for "solo-play", other than the main quests (given by the prophet), and mages/fighters guild quests, all other quests are open. That doesn't mean you need to play with others, but you will still encounter other players. If you don't want to see other players, then you're out of luck, as this is an MMO. You can still complete these quests on your own. The exceptions are the specific group content activities: group dungeons (which are technically possible to complete solo), trials, and the Dawnstar Arena.

The whole game is soloable up to Craglorn with the acception of a couple world boss that I found hard. (looking at you v5 troll cave). The group dungeons are the only thing that aren't. There's more than enough soloable content. But, if you mean you want to be alone in the world....wait a year? lol j/k.

I'm really enjoying the game so far. Just with all the login errors, queues, mega server crashes, I haven't really been able to play more then like 7 hours of gameplay. I'm not really getting to fully understand the game yet because of this. Otherwise, those 7 or so hours I played I did really like it. It really takes a whole different spin on mmos.

I hate to be negative, but this game isn't anywhere near as good as previous Elder Scrolls games. People running all around doing the same quests, no open world PvP attacks. Just a bit of a let down. Graphics look cartoonic; Got sucked in by love of other elder scrolls games and the trailers. If you like realistic graphics and a skyrim feel Witcher 3 is a hundred times better than this game. Wish I could get my money back on my collectors edition elder scrolls online game.

Why would you waste money on a collectors edition and then immediately turn around and say you want your money back? The game has been out for a year. There were plenty of vids, pics and reviews. This is a Elder Scrolls MMO. Not a single player game. Comparing it to The Witcher 3 is completely unrealistic. I'm not trying to bash you. I just seriously don't follow your thought process in all of this.

I like it so far, but I have 0 experience with any Online gaming, or group play, and didn't buy it for this purpose either, so we'll see how I'm gonna like it overall after playing for a little while. I've literally just started playing for a couple of hours last night. It almost bothers me a bit that there's so many people running around you all the time, but I know that it comes with the online gaming experience. ;)

Enjoying it so far, just wish my old brain would pick up how the system works a bit quicker. No gripes from me, I'm sure everything will be fixed or added at some point. Until then i'll just muddle along exploring.

If they allowed open world PvP attacks, you wouldn't be able to walk 10 feet in the starter zone without getting ganked by a bored VR14.

Ya, a couple videos watched and understanding that this isn't a single player game would have saved you the money. Live and learn :)

I know, it's hard to follow the mind of a genius. I watched all the videos bla bla bla... apples and oranges bla bla bla...bottom line prediction, this game couldn't make it on a computer and it is dead in the water right now.
