Dude, the validity of your opinion isn't really in question. All that was being stated was that launch issues were to be expected. Any other issues you will hardly find anyone standing against you. However referring to people as fanbois and mocking the facts that they bring (launch related) as well as bring ing the whole thread off topic on a tangent of personal defense isn't helping keep this thread unlocked.
I get it, You are PISSED because you love the game and the remaining issues are unfathomable, facing console launch is one straw closer, but take a step back and breathe.

Went to bed, and was actually able to get on and create my character, but was kicked of many times. Today I haven't been able to stay connected for longer than 15 minutes at a time without being booted out. The wait times in between are completely unreasonable. They had a year to get this together, failed on pc release, and now console. The amount of money people spend on this game/franchise, you'd think they'd finally do something right, give the fans what they want. The game is awesome, I just wish I'd be able to play it. i know there are a lot of fanboys that will defend them, and talk about other game releases not going so well, but I've been on a few call of duty games where the release went smoothly and the servers held the massive amounts of players on there. But I'm finally able to log on, so I guess I'll be back in about 15 minutes when I get kicked off to see if this has been deleted. Get it together guys. I'd like a consistent experience.

If you are ready to give the game a bad review because of NORMAL mmorpg issues the first 48 HOURS then you are part of the problem.

No offence but that is a really typical fanboi attitude, Zeni has basically ignored us, the PC community for months on end, some of us, including myself been here since early beta, and fed the same rubbish over and over again, then to find out they are putting everything on hold for consoles.

Consoles are easier to code for than PC , simply cos of the architecture, whereas there is a myriad of PC configurations, and the game is amazing on so many levels but flawed on so many levels also.

Zeni and the way they treat the game on any platform, not the players are the problem.

Myself and many PC gamers have beta tested this game for absolutely ages, and with no end in sight to the plague of issues.

Game stability on any platform is absolutely vital for game success, it is as though they learned nothing from the past year and more for us long suffering PC players and repeating the same rubbish on console.

They had months to code and iron out issues for console release, same as with us on PC, and for months afterwards ,not 48 hours, some issues are still in effect even since beta.

The poster has a right to voice his/her opinion, like all of us, they paid for the game, they have a right to expect a working product.

Anything else is just excuses, piled on excuses, lies and stonewalling.

    Bit like in PC ESO...

So I'll try to educate you. A game as popular as this (console launch wise) brings in so many people it's IMPOSSIBLE to prepare/stress test something like that and get it exactly right. This stuff happens. But continue, I do enjoy your tears.

    Lol, just lol.

Hardly tears, just statements of fact, but continue in your fanboii ignorance just a bit more.

Not a expert on the console issues, but some issues seem to be the same for us PC players, and going by Zenis undisputed track record on the subject, it is doubtful at best whether the issues will be fixed, if ever.

I do not know nor care about you, but some of us have played since beta and seen it all, and still see issues that are ignored or lied too from Zeni.

    Lol the ignorance is amazing..

Paul Sage flat out admitted that their tech is at fault, but there is not much they can really do with the server itself. Upgrading won't fix anything apparently so it must be software related, meaning they would have to migrate the entire game over to a more optimized version of the software which could take yet another 6 years to do.Imo.

If only prior to launch, ZeniMax had some way to COMMUNICATE that there would probably be some server-side issues at launch and console players could see that COMMUNICATION and then COMMUNICATE between each other to further spread that COMMUNICATION.

I wonder if somebody will eventually start a Kickstarter for this useful messaging technology that apparently doesn't exist yet. They'd probably make a lot of money if people were able to, you know, just write something down and have it instantly seen by a whole lot of people...

It's console. They'll fix it ASAP. PC is only for beta testing and cash flow for console versions. So they don't really care if PC issues get fixed or not.

thats not true at all, they wernt even going to make it for consoles until the fans asked for it. it was originally made for pc not consoles they just tried to optimize it for consoles and so far its a great game..but then again its a first of its kind in a way a true MMO on consoles not including DCUO or FF

For one you can't argue that it's a good game when it works, if it wasn't you wouldn't be so upset because you can't play how you want. And two, the game has been out for just over 24 HOURS, it's not like it's been out for months and they're still having the same issue. People make mistakes, and people learn from their mistakes, that's life.

I would recommend this game to anyone, it is an amazing game and once you're in, you're hooked.

There are many different ways to handle load problems of the magnitude that would have been faced at launch. There are three loose categories that they can fit into.
    1. Application - The Code employed itself
    2. Infrastructure - The hardware that is in place for the particular function
    3. Process - The mechanism around how you let users loose

I have been fortunate enough to work on large scale systems and things of this scale happen an awful lot across the world, most people only hear about the one`s that have problems and that is the nature of the beast.

I would hazard an educated guess that ZOS are in one of two camps right now.
    1. 1) They knew that their kit/systems would not handle the initial huge spike of traffic and the money men said it was not worth throwing more cash at an one off event. Now as unpopular as this may seem they can rely on the fact that many other companies have suffered this stage in release and were secure in their knowledge that their customers would ride it out and their T&C`s keep them safe from any real harm.
    2. 2) They do not have the skills/tools in house to foresee that this was coming and are skipping through their trouble tickets like a bunch of intoxicated teenagers.

For all our sakes I hope they are in camp 1.

No problems at all here :) Played for 8 solid hours yesterday with no disconnections. Maybe some minor lag in the busiest parts of the major towns and cities which is to be expected.

Also the game has been out for like 2-3 days. Ofc there will be be problems with thousands of player logging in at the same time. You have obviously never played an MMO before.

I have to disagree with people who defending the ZOS cos i been in beta and there was tons of broken quests including main story quests and lots of other broken game mechanics then they released the game and all those broken things was there untouched compelety ignored by ZOS. Game was literally unplayable after long period of beta testing it was like a alpha stage. But i didnt complain i said "well its a pretty new game they will fix it soon" But it took forever and i stopped playing.
I started again on march 2015 and paid subs till now and there is still bugs from the launch and no new content or no character customization etc etc. And i have no any tolarance left for ZOS anymore . And now same things happening to the console players. And now we have to wait more because whole ZOS team focused on console issues. İ would have tolarated these things if this game was cheap but its not for a broken game. And people have right to complain all the way. :/

People who are playing dont come to the forums to complain, so you get a very biased picture of whats going on in any launch.

Normally people who want a head start in a game to keep to the front of the leveling curve, but in this release, you already have Vr14s. So anyone buying the console bersion may as well just DL the software, then do somehting else for a week and come back when the initital issues are sorted.

Or buy a PC and play the game as its supposed to be played

The bad reviews this game got with the initial buggy release in 2014 did a lot to damage its reputation, and the devs have been in fire-fighting mode ever since. If this release triggers a second wave of bad reviews the damage might just be irreparable this time...

This game had a bad review since they said "Online" after "Elder Scrolls". The 90% of the "bad" reviews I've read always had the same initial sentence: "I've only played a few hours..."

So yeah... This game will never had positive reputation or feedback. Just look this forums. Most of the threads are "THIS GAME SUKZ Because... ... ... BECAUSE IT SUKZ!!!" So... This is just one more page of *** this fantastic game will had, sadly. I just hope that people can just ignore all of this and try the game, and form an opinion of their own.

You've played for less than a day, you've had a crappy DC experience and therefore feel that you are qualified to recommend or not recommend this game to others? Judgemental or what! All you can do is tell others the problems you had at the start, you cannot recommend this game because you haven't played this game. If you stick with it and allow the teething troubles to iron themselves out, then spend months playing up to VR14, running the dungeons, delves, quests, crafting, exploration etc, then you will be in a position to recommend or not, petulance is not becoming and colours your grievance. Changing the title of your post might help, perhaps something like, multiple disconnects during first day making it hard to play.

How about I just shut all you people attacking OP down for his limited time playing, defending the game, and minimizing the reviews the game has gotten over the year...

So ive been here nonstop since October 2013.

I could write a review so full of negativity it would make you wonder why I am even still here.

Stop with the senseless fanboying, seriously, if the past here is any indication, you are all going to be horribly disappointed sooner than you think.

"First week" becomes "First month" becomes "game isnt a year old yet" becomes "OK NOW IM MAD" pretty fast.

So im just saying, dont be a blind hater on OP, because fundamentally his opinion on the game reflects what a LOT of other people have been saying for months.

If it wasnt for my investment into being a guild leader, and the friends ive made, I wouldnt log in at all (and i log in way less than I used to)
