Xbox one: characters aren't loading when I hAve to return to them

So the characters aren't loading when I have to return after a quest..any ideas or sol?

I have the same problem but it only happens to me every hour or so. What fixes the issue for me is to quit the game then reload it. This will have to be the fix until they fix the bug or the lag whatever is causing the issue.

Also someone else is having the same problem but it doesn't fix by just quitting the game. So if quitting doesn't do it log out then quit the game and see if that fixes it.

Thanks! I will give it a try. I gave up for the night. It wouldn't connect me to the server.
