I should have waited on getting this game.
So I had high hopes for this game since I enjoyed Oblivion and ElderScrolls. But this game is such a mess. At the moment I can not even log on. I had trouble logging on release. On Several occassions I was stuck trying to load into an area (the last was the Phaer Mines). I was stuck for minutes looking at a "This may be unusually long wait times". Lags hits when I am in any populated area. Earlier today after work I had to wait in a Que to get into the game???
I made the mistake of buying this game digitally for the PS4. I don't think I can get my money back. I really think they needed more testing on consoles before they released it.
This is an epic fail in my book. Hopefully they can fix these issues?? Sorry I want to play the game but the game keeps screwing up.

Even it being lag issues, loading issues, glitches, etc....and that is even for offline based games. Look at a game like Witcher 3 which is still suffering for issues. Or look at Assassin's Creed Unity which was even worse than this release. All I can suggest is that if you don't want these to continue don't preorder and try to get others you know not to preorder. Well I can stand flaws but seeing I just got the game and staring at Login Failed isn't the idea picture of a good time.

Okay apparently the servers are temporarily down for maintenance.
Here is an idea: Toss the old servers out and buy some new ones.2 -

The difference? This game has been out on PC for over a year and "we" fixed a ton of bugs and we even had to endure the last few months of "we will fix the massive amount of problems after console launch"... With as much resources and time they have had to polish this they FAILED... Your posting with the claim of "give them more time" on almost every post just makes the PC uses who have paid to beta test for over a year mad. I dont blame you Zusia you seem to be truly a nice person, but you need to understand what issues and problems the PC users have had to endure the last year and we are tired of giving them more time...

but uh yeah. You might be new but this is a very common problem for games especially hyped games on launch. All this crap you are going through right now is because it just released on console.))
Think of it this way - rush hour. You have tons of people trying to get from point A to point B. But sadly the road can only have so many people on it at a time, thus things start to slow down, people have to wait, and so on.))
Many other mmos and games dealt with this so its nothing new here. Give it about a week or so until the hype dies down.))
There is no point in them to upgrade servers, it would be a waste of money no doubt. The hype will slow down soon. It's sad because I want to play also

Difference between many other mmos and this one is they actually fix their problems. I know TOS has done some patching here or there but to hear other pc players that are still having issues after all this time sickens me. FFXIV imo and I love the series had a horrible launch with over hype. Servers were not ready for it. But tbh that was the only deal breaker. They got them fixed in a quick hurry and the rest has been awesome. I play ffxiv regularly but I was really hoping to have ESO be my 2nd home in between patches or whatever. I just want the room to grow and enjoy many kinds of styles of mmos and not just one. Lotro was another good example of a game that was sub , went f2p and has done it right. Still Love that game too. ESO might get better but I doubt it will fix many of the things that plague it on pc and now on console.0

But the thing wrong with that is most of these people complain are complaining about the console release and not the issues with the PC. So all my "give them more time" (apparent posts) are meant for the consoles and mainly for their log in issues. Are there problems with the game, YES, but like I said this has been issue with a lot of games these days. Witcher 3 which I love has loading issues where it will take 5 minutes before I can talk to the person I want to talk to. It is funny to think because it is a MMO that these problems should be expected. Because of experience? So it's excusable?
I mean if that's the case then they should forewarn people that they may experience login failures at launch and may suffer whole hours of miss gameplay while they figure who spilled the coffee in their server rooms.
I saw another one state with all the other MMO having the same issues with their launches, you would think they would be able to prevent it from happening with theirs.
I still can't log on and this has been well over a hour that I have been waiting to get back into the game.
I mean they should have said you can purchase the game on the 9th but it won't be fully playable because we need to fix all the issues that users will be experiencing to fix all the issues to get the full experience. Please play the game in a month from now. Thank you

I didn't mind Oblivion, couldn't stand Skyrim, LOVED morrowind (mods for that are epic). Once they come out with the upgraded graphics version of Morrowind I'll be sooooo happy. But ya, when folks compare apples to oranges it gets me too.1 -
bramhornSoul ShrivenI am in the oceanic region and am logging on to the North American server and it takes on average 10-15minutes to load in then lasts anywhere from 2 - 15 minutes before dropping out again, not to mention the awful lag. To say I am disappointed with the game at the moment is an understatement, hopefully they will fix these problems so the game experience improves or it will be going back!0

Honestly, you can legitimately say almost all MMOs have login problems on the first few days of launch, but OTOH you'd also be justified in expecting less of a cr@pfest after the launch was delayed for 14 months (and after you just dropped $60-$100 add spent hours-days DLing a product). I can only imagine the state the console version must have been in 14 months ago..0
