Infinite login queue -- That's one long 1 second

Just finished download and logged in and clicked play. It put me in a "Login queue" screen, with no listed position in queue and estimated wait time of 1 second. It's been this way for 20 minutes.
I checked the server status page and it says things are running (not that these things necessarily are reliably live updated).
Is something wrong or is there just a gigantic queue this morning and the login position/estimator is buggy?

GortneeSoul ShrivenIt makes a difference because if I'm queued, I do not want to leave. But if something's borked and I want to quit and restart, then I do.0

✭Hi there, @Gortnee. Please try the below steps, and see if they work for your issue:- Log out of the game
- Close the launcher
- Re-open the launcher
- Allow the launcher to completely install any updates
- Log in to the game

KimJasSoul ShrivenI've been in login queue for the last 2 hours, actually more like 3 now. I understood at first, being that this is launch day but then as time went by I started looking to see if this is a problem for everyone or just me. I can't find a big issue in forums or online with others in a queue to get in. I've rebooted the launcher several times and no changes. No error # it just tells me that I'm in login queue, thanks me for my patience and estimates the time at 1s! Help please!0 -

SarehNovaSoul ShrivenI am on the ps4 version tried logging out and closing app rebooting ps4 and trying again but my login queue was bouncing between 1500+ and 2600+ like how do I loose my position plus it said estimated time was 1 second and I finally got in 30 minutes later I get this is still technically opening day but common the bugs are getting redic0

Just got it 3 times in a row for the first time. The steps did not solve the problem. I had been playing for quite a while, been logged out by server problems, but always got right back in. Looks like this is starting again. Just that it's the first time for me. (On xbox one, by the way). Well, I hard powered off the console, restarted the game, but now it says in the queue that my wait is even longer.Edited by BambooScramble on June 10, 2015 8:56PM0

I was in game 3 hours ago. I was placed in queue and had to wait in queue for 35mins before getting back in game. That is crap. Fix this.

LtSzucs✭Yeah, I agree. I finally got into a game.. Played for about 30 minutes. Got kicked out and dashboarded. Then, forced to wait 15 minutes to get back into the game. I don't care that there is a wait, but don't boot me, then expect me to wait to get back in. FIX THIS ISSUE NOW0

Seravi✭✭✭✭✭Trying to play on the NA server last night was a disaster. Everyone was being kicked off or lagged horrible to the point you could not do anything but just stand there and hope you didn't get the "spam" kick while it worked itself out. I haven't seen this kind of mess for PC players since launch over a year ago.
I thought consoles were on different server farms? Don't they also have different login verification servers? If not they need to because something is causing horrible problems on the PC megaservers. I gave up last night after being kicked off the server four times last night trying to complete a small dungeon in Auridon, lvl 15. Chatting with guildies it was a server wide issue. I did verify my connection, etc and had no issues on my side or my route to the servers.0 -
LtSzucs✭Well hey, if any of us are able to finally log in and play (I'm on the XboxOne), I'm looking for an active guild. I'm in the Ebonheart Pact, I'm a Nord Templar and looking to be one of the better blacksmiths in Tamerial. Long way to go though.. But if anyone needs any heavy armor, swords or sheilds made, hit me up. I'd be willing to make guild member equipment for no charge but all others I would charge a small fee. Just to cover the charge of the ingot and trait, mostly.

I paid to play not to get frustrated.... it is the second night that i try tô login and couldnt manage, reboted the launcher 2 times and despite waiting 20 minutes in each attempt it didnt worked. ZOS_BilladminAs this thread is over 5 years old we will be closing the discussion. You are getting a login queue for a different reason then what occurred five years ago. An influx of new players has led to a login queue to help with server stability. The thread linked below has more details on this issue.
