How does one account on XBOX ONE & PS4 work?

Thanks to whoever stole the name Kaide on XBOX ONE...just wanted to say that first. Wish I hadn't posted on the forums so much recently...
1. Will I be able to use the same character names on both consoles? Even if my preferred names are taken on XBOX ONE?
2. Will they be able to share crowns/perks from the PS4 subscription?

ZOS_JasonLeavey✭✭✭✭✭Hey there, @Kaide. There are separate servers for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, so no progress, crowns, etc. will be shared between the two. You'll essentially have two different versions of the game, similar to if you were playing on PC/Mac and on console.1 -

You should be able to use names taken on the Xbox.. on the PS4. of course, only if someone on PS4 didn't already use it ( I don't actually KNOW this, but I do know they are on different servers that cannot play together - so it's my best guess)
Secondly, no. Because of the different servers and different accounts, you won't be able to share perks/subscription between the two. (Same for players who have a PC and console account. They do not share subscriptions or perks)
