ZOS seriously can't perma-ban known hackers?

So tired of seeing the same guy hacking for months on end. ZOS just do what you have to do. GET RID OF HIM. By himself he isn't a problem but he runs with one other hacker and then a zerg of EP pugs always join up with him and it is just impossible to do anything about it. YOU ARE LOSING PLAYERS BECAUSE OF YOUR INABILITY TO STOMP OUT HACKS!!!

I was just getting back into the game after a break and this is not something your player base should have to deal with. I'd rather uninstall than fight a hacker for the 1000th time over a 8 month stretch.

Yep, was trying to figure out ways to shut him down last night, only thing that worked was CC spam while he was within siege range, and that was only when his friend was distracted

Definitely a demoralizing experience. My form of revenge was camping his body @ scroll grab and repeatedly interrupting his rez :P

Along with that, since we have been on hold so long waiting on these consoles there have been more and more broken game mechanics, allowing for even more exploiting, such as getting into keeps, flying sorcs that blink and never touch the ground and fly into keeps, I seen a speed hack the other day this guy looked like the flash, and it was not rubber banding or lag, all you have to do is watch the major farming groups, when they start using certain special or switch to new kinds of elemental damage more than likely it is broken doing more damage than it should.

But when there is a known cheater in the game doing more harm to the player base than losing the one cheater and they do not take action, I don't know what to say, other than man up and do your job ZOS protect your non cheating play base..

The sad part is..

When ZoS refuses to take action. The only message they send is go ahead and cheat.

This just means more people taking advantage of these exploits, which is bad for the game overall. This type of exploit + lack of response by game developer is why people leave.

No they are hesitant to ban people ruining the game. But boy oh boy do they chomp at the bit to ban folks on this forum. I just tried to message my friend Roechacca only to see he is banned. Srsly ZOS? Implement the same gestapo tactics in game you demonstrate here and maybe less people would rage here. Smh.

I'm tired of people using a hack to:
- Make the server lag
- Fire multiple abilities in the same second
- Chain cast ultimates
- etc...

Just google "ESO hacks" and you know what I'm talking about.
Just play ESO in Cyrodiil and you know what I'm talking about.

Should I also install these hacks so I can compete the people who do install them?

Or should I stop the game because I'm just tired of this situation?

@ZOS_GinaBruno an official statement would be more than welcome.

I don't think I know anyone who's been perma-banned for real. I've known people who've been banned and then fight & reinstate their accounts. However, none of these people were banned because of exploiting.

PC player Vs player seems to be the last of the concerns for ZOS though take it you have sent them screen shots and videos of this dude other wise they really will just assume skills and such

Will give it a peek and figured you did but the people who handle that stuff aren't on the forums and know you probbly used the other option to and contacted their customer service directly on the topic, so they can have people look into it. ., since you said something sometimes think they a different group looking into this crap cause everyone gets the same replies about exploits

To be sure I miss the posts of those listed. I believe wholeheartedly that a free and open discussion can be constructive when done so with consideration.
That consideration is at the center of what ZOS may find seditious in what these folks have posted.

Having been on several City Councils I also know that silencing people can have many more negative effects than letting what one may think of as "the rabble" have their say.
It comes down to integrity. Steel is not strong if it's not tempered with fire. Fire provides light as well. A light wherein we can see flaws in design or in this case policy.

ZOS has an ironclad policy on forum posts being what they think (or consider) is constructive. It "seems" that the policy on banning for exploits in game is not made of either steel or iron. Sadly.

The bottom line is ZOS controls both and this isn't a free society or community. Its a business. One can be banned for not wearing shirts in a restaurant as it speaks to health codes. Unfortunately the mentioned players have been banned for speaking their minds. This one finds that sad. And meaningful.

Everything has been a gray area since as long as I can remember. Even when they came out and said X, another dev or community manager would say Y. So we really dont know anymore.

I've seen all the videos, and not one of them shows proof these two guys are hacking or cheating in any way. If anybody thinks they know how they are reducing their damage so much, then by all means tell us!

I see people mentioning the Light of Cyrodiil set... is this set's 5 pc bonus bugged? If so, then maybe somebody who actually owns this (very expensive) set should do some testing with Mist Form and various Sorc spells to see what happens.

Did it ever occur to any of you that ZoS investigated these guys and simply didn't find jack squat wrong with them? That's BY FAR the most likely explanation for their actions regarding this issue.

What's so hilarious about the clowns who always complain about these guys is, if you watch their videos, THEY never take any damage either! All I see is a bunch of Sorcs chasing each other all over Cyrodiil with massive Wards up 24/7, peppering each other with dinky, un-procced Mage's Furies and wondering why nobody is taking any damage. Ridiculous!

Just look at my video please in my signature. There are times when the accused is at 10% HP, on the ground CC'd, with zero shields or time to recast them, with 3-4 people performing executes and mine in particular are hitting for like 40 dmg.

I don't think we are allowed to talk about the 'how to' side of exploiting on the forum. The damage mitigation said players have when not in mistform is akin to that of players in mistform wearing cyrodils light. There has been widely acknowledged 'peculiarities' noted with abilities toggled on an overload bar working when overload is no longer toggled. Hmmm I wonder...
