Last time pre-order for me...

..first of all I really love Elder Scrolls Games and i played them since Daggerfall (PC) from the 90's until Skyrim (Xbox 360).

So as Fan I bought ESO as pre-order in the XBox Store but now i noticed that directly after launch the Premium Edition is on sale in incl. 5500 crowns and all pre-order advantages. Joke right? Why was this edition not available for the "sales" price as pre-order? Sorry but I don't unterstand this... So i will never buy any crowns as reaction for this and i don't care what i can get for it, this wasn't a nice marketing move for pre-order customers.

Also there is only a one month subscription available in the Xbox Store, where are the 3 and 6 Months offerings? From the current point of view a one month subscription is also no option for me and i would also like to see the final prizing. I feel already ripped of as pre-order customer one time, a second time: No way!

I also have have a few technical issues, so performance seams currently not very stable on the european server's or the game itself (low fps). It would be nice if this could be fixed/improved.

Currently i will stay on other games like bf4/witcher, sad to say but currently my fun level to play ESO is at zero and you teached me that pre-order is mostly useless. There will be better offerings after launch and a better change to get a working game incl. a working infrastructure (monthly subscriptions/server performance). I hope i will find fun again to play PSO but currently.. thank you!

That package is $119.99 where the Imperial edition is only $79.99. The price of 5500 crowns is $39.99 so essentially, you did not miss out on anything...

Sorry but i have an offer for 94,99... I don't now where it's coming from but it's there, see attached picture and this means i missed 5500 crowns for a good pricing directly after launch.

Maybe Microsoft is doing a joke here but still: The offering is no joke from my point of view. Similar for a friend of mine, maybe the offer is not (currently) available in your region.

95 Euros is about the same as 120 American. Any other differences are due to taxes and duties unique to your country.

Oops, didn't know that you were talking about the Euro store. This reminds me of the time when Xbox released, they offered free copies of Fifa in Europe but left us in the states with nothing at all..

I would probably suggest contacting Microsoft to see if they could give you a credit for the discount on the package so you could purchase the 5500 crown package at the same rate. It doesn't seem like Bethesda or Zenimax were the ones offering the discount since it seems different per region.

Microsoft has been trying to make their presence more known in Europe so they might be more likely to issue you a credit. I know its a pain to have to contact them but there is barely any waiting time for Xbox support so it's definitely worth a shot. I've had to contact them multiple times to get credit cards removed in the past and they've been fairly good at minimizing wait times.

I saw on Google it says it comes out to $107.29 but if you look at the scale for the currency exchange rate, that would definitely explain the difference in price lol

Yes but european prices for games are also prized much higher than in the US, general Microsoft Store issue so you can compare this only for the same region.

For example you can compare this to an 90,99 US$ dollar offer for the Premium Edition in the US.

Comparing this only on a currency point of view will not take care for the general price differences, so in Euro it a 50% discount for 5500 Crowns compared to the seperate packages and a 20 Euro discount compared to the regular price.We have no option to pay in US$ here...

Premium Edition Full Price 114,99€ -> Current sale: 94,99€

Imperial Edition Pre-order: 79,99€ + 5500 Crowns: 39,99€ = 119,98€

Premium Edition Sale saving for the crowns, rest content is equal= 24,99€ compared to the regular pricing, with 5 € difference i would not have any issue with 24,99€ difference i've an issue.

I bought the $80 version and I can't use any race on any alliance eventhough that's the whole reason I spent an extra $20. I called Bethesda and they said their working on it but now here I am on my day off just sitting here with my *** in my hand waiting when all I want to do is play with my friends who all have it as well. O n ps their bonus content worked. If anyone has any suggestions I tried uninstalling everything but the game itself because I'd rather not sit here for over an hour just hoping that will work. So if anyone has had the same issue and fixed it please let me know

..it's more than a 50% saving for the crowns and the regular price set in the store is 114,99€. Just get a look on the screenshot i've provided.

As said, i don't know to which regions this deal applies and why..

...but i do know already a few disappointed customers.

@ThatCurlyGuy: I got a similar issue, for me it helped to delete everything incl. the add-on packages, reboot the xbox (important) and than login first to the console and perform the install again and make sure that the add-on packages have been installed before you launch the game. It might help you too, i don't know all reasons where the issue can come from.

I have to add some news, i discussed the issue with the Microsoft Support just a few minutes ago and they were really helpfull. They provided me a refund for the PreOrder bought one week ago (customer right in germany) and i was able to buy the Onsale Premium Edition for the mentioned price without any big discussion and this saved the ESO reputation in my eyes.
