Probably another 2 days with my crap Internet speed. I did the PC to console transfer so it's all digital. That's why I said if you didn't find one before I was in the game. In the meantime, whenever it's night in game and there's a full moon in the sky, could try hunting down mobs. You can find maps online for the areas they usually spawn. Just make sure you're looking for them on The Rift.
Yeah. If you can't find one free then don't spend any gold on it. Like at pc launch, people charge an exorbitant amount of gold for bites. So if you can't find a mob or a person to bite for free, hold off a few days. Especially if you're brand new to the game.
I have successfully sold 3 werewolf bites each week for four months for 5,000g each during prime-time evening hours in auridon or reaper's march in less than 30 minutes for all 3. People always spam chat not to buy but I typically receive several replies for each advertisement of the sale.
Supply and demand folks. And you can bet on console the demand will be very high for quite some time.
Werewolf spawns happen when both moons are full. There are several locations where you can find them in The Rift, usually within proximity of a wayshrine.
If you google it, or use the search function on the forums you will find information on the locations and then you can camp those locations until you find a spawn.
