So, Consoles launched, I am sure anyone could figure that out just by glancing at the forum starting around 10:40 PM EST last night. As was expected by, I would say a bunch of people who were around for the PC launch fiasco (every MMO launch can be considered a fiasco), the console servers had issues right off the bat as people flooded in to get their hands on some Elder Scrolls Online action. The important thing is, however, is not that the Console servers had issues, which again every MMO has issues the first week they launch (even when going to a different platform and relaunching), but the important thing is that even at 1:30 AM EST this morning, ZOS was on deck trying to fix things as necessary. I can only imagine Red Bull was real this morning at the ZOS HQ.
So yes, Console launch, from the looks of it, did not go smoothly, but ZOS was there to assist the new members of ESO as they needed it, as best they could,so give them credit where credit is due for caring about their game, as they could have easily just pushed the problems off till the next day (as some companies do).
Anyway, welcome all new members of our lovely ESO community joining us via console. While we may not directly see each other in-game (as I will remain true to my grass roots PC gaming), I can't wait to see you guys and gals on the forums and in the community outside of the game as well.
