Will we be able to buy crowns from xbox/psn store?

Also anyone know if our character names are actually going to matter and be visable to others or is it just still going to show our console id like it did in the beta? Because that was just awful.

✭I think crowns (and subs) will not make it to consoles, because players there already have to pay console-specific networking racket and therefore are unable to spend further money on ESO. Which is why compulsory subs were abolished.0 -

I believe you are mistaken. Players will have access to the Crown Store on console. they need a way to fund ESO as it moves forward.
DCUO sells Marketplace Cash in the PSN Store. Warframe sells it's currency as well. ESO will sell everything you see in the following link in the PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace

Your visible in-game identity will be your XBL Gamertag or PSN ID, which is a standard set by Microsoft/Sony. ZOS may be able to change that in the future, but at the moment they want to remain consistent with other XB1 and PS4 games. Well, it could be a little immersion breaking when an Argonian character goes from being named "Watches-the-Trees" to "ShepardRULZ!!!69". But if they must.

In beta you could see character names when they were a contact (PSN friend) or you were in a group together and you looked in those tabsPUG Life - the true test of your skill
