Using siege but cant use it

So I use a siege..
It's placed on the ground and set up.
Than it doesn't put me in siege mode and I cannot use the siege even though its sitting there.

Tried going to main menu and back... Still cannot use. (Option to use doesn't appear)
Tried pressing shift and let go (in case im in sprint mode)... Still cannot use.
Tried leaving the area and coming back.... Still cannot use.

Basically I just wasted a siege.
Basically this is just YET ANOTHER BUG... FRIGGIN bug that this game has.

    I think this happens to me when I press W, S, A or D while setting up siege. Try remaining stationary until the siege is completely set up and see if it happens again.

    The problem I have is the green indicator that you aim with only appears for me 60% of the time...

    its about lags

    Ahh yes, you are correct it does happen during lag. I have gotten the bug on empty servers though with no lag so I believe there may be something else that can cause it to happen other then lag, not 100% sure what it is though.

    One of our guildies is yet to be able to use a cold harbor siege that he has put down. Just does not get the option to fire it.

    I get this as well. Also get the no cross-hairs bug. And the fire it right in front of itself only bug. Very annoying, but one of many very annoying bugs that do not appear to be high on the priority list of fixing things.

    Also when you are trying to siege but the arrow that shows where your siege will hit isnt there and you try to fire it and it goes 2 feet infront of you...

    Ya, pretty much I lay the siege down..
    Kicks me out of siege.
    I cant interface the siege/ use the siege.

    No one else is using it.

    Sometimes...
    The siege will magically burn itself/ kill itself slowly too.

    Very frustrating, especially when your AP starved and the siege is worth a lot and it goes bugs the heck out.

    This is a bug that's been around for a very long time. Don't count on it getting fixed.

    It's even more fun when it's cold fire. yeah been going on a while now. You never get used to it. Expected yes, used to it? no.

    The siege always decays faster when someone isn't actively in the targeting UI. As for the siege randomly not letting you interact, it's been around for a while and is awfully frustrating (of course). I definitely get the no targeting bug more frequently though.
