Perhaps "The Road Ahead" is on the back burner until console release time and say some care and maintenance,
after which time, normal service will resume (he said optimistically).

I will agree that the PR dept. needs to speak up if only to quash rumour mongering and some inaccurate forum posts.

The longer this continues is tantamount to tacit approval & serves to breed more guess work & inaccurate rumour mongering.

With launch day on the console just a few hours away we can only hope that more accurate official info is imminent.

Just re-read the reveals from QuakeCon last year, they're basically a permanent Road Ahead.

"Dead end" is all I am seeing on the road ahead right now.

Funny how often people say this. Been seeing this statement since a year before it released. First it was going to fail on release, then it was three months, then six months, a year...now next year.

The game for all purposes is dead on the PC. Less people play this even with it being b2p than pretty much any other AAA mmo. If the console release flops you can kiss this game goodbye.

If you actually read what I wrote I said if the console version FLOPS then the game is history. There are not enough PC players to keep the game alive. We are months and months from anything new as the console crowd has taken over now. I havent logged into the game in about a month maybe more. Havent paid since the b2p conversion.

Sad thing is there's no point, there'll be a long time before we get any news on "new content". So far, as people have posted already, we have seen a great deal of "unfinished content" and know what is coming and now all we are waiting for is ETA's on the road ahead.

I seriously hope Zos is working on new content and not just the mountains of stuff they showed off, (clockwork, imperial city, orsinium, murkmire, mephala's realm Abah's Landing, thieves guild, dark brotherhood and a bunch of armor sets and weapons not to mention Spellscrafting) most of which have been shown in-game at one time or another.

I want to know if everything is still planned to be released at one point or has some stuff been scraped? I can see Zos holding content to do more testing for bugs and stability but is nothing seriously ready? or is stuff still being worked on?

It makes sense from a business stand point to hold the content for consoles so they can have a steady release of content for new console players.

They have stated several times That there would be no Road Ahead until after console launch, like everything else.

I really wish these "Inform us" threads would stop since it seems those who call for information forget it very quickly.

They did inform us that they will not be informing us until after console release.

In an live interview at the role play conventio, this question was asked also. Matt said, that he doesnt have time atm (console launch) but as soon as this happened there will be a road ahead

The road ahead becomes a thinner and thinner track that leads into a misty swamp.

Who knows where the road leads?

We might all get eaten by drowners, choke on swamp gas or maybe make it out the other side and find ourselves in Wrothgar or Murkmire?

Thing is there is only one copy of the map and we don't have it ....

Us PvP players subbed and paid for a year now and received literally nothing but performance decreases. So I think it is legitimate to cancel payment and ask for the service to be delivered we already paid for
