It's been said since the Dawn of this game that DC is incapable of working together. Many of us have tried helping them work together. And to put a fine point on this, last week I saw 2 large guilds claim to have a combined 5 full raids up and yet they were still unable to accomplish much. It is deeply disappointing.

You say you bring people in to learn and welcome anyone, but I see groups advertise in zones for hours a night claiming 2+ full raids and yet the map gets worse. Does DC need elitists? no, but they need elite guilds. People are going to learn much more and much faster playing in 12 man or less groups and if I took a stab at the percentage of people who prefer smaller scale fighting I'd say it'd be about 80%. How are you gonna learn anything running with 48 players behind you're back, when you can barely determine the effect you are having on a fight, you dont have to worry half as much about sustain with (being DC of course) 24 of those 48 being templars LOLOL.

and all this being said its not until elite, small and organized groups like shortbus come along that DC makes any progress. I rarely play US prime time and will admit to rarely being in the same campaign as NPK but in my experience its groups like shortbus that return the most scrolls, have the most detrimental effect on enemy zergs and capture the most keeps. This may not always seem so clear because it also happens that most players (and particularly the better ones) dont like PvDoor and even despite the 'Victory' Incentive to win campaigns, will often just seek out good fights, and this way of thinking is probably the soul reason they are better players lol.

4 man Havok groups do more damage to DC each night than 20+ man PUG groups. how can you say winning campains is a about numbers?

12 man Alacrity/Decibil groups get more siege on our keeps than hordes of AD, how can you say more is just better?

Bottom line, if you prefer running Huge groups go ahead, but dont claim its the only way to winning campains when it is obvious said guilds have less effect than smaller, better ones. I had never seen NM run more than 24 people, and if we had 4, 12 man NM groups rather than x amounts of 48 man groups, we'd win any campaign we play in....but seriously, does anyone care about winning? open field terrain fights to no campaign progress will always be the goal for me. not farming, just fun. Focus on how YOU play and YOUR guild members builds and abilities before you come call for the rest of DC to zerg it up.

I'm saying I don't know of a guild who runs more people than yours. The same numbers, possibly, but if any one guild runs more than you do, I haven't seen it.

All? Daniel this is exactly your problem. You say "all" and you're only speaking of NPK and HD. <sigh> As if the two most populated (quantity) guilds are all that matter. I think Eskimo's point which you havd missed again and again is smaller groups can be just as effective, perhaps maybe because they don't allow deadweight. Don't diminish their importance. Not everyone wants to sit in Ts with 100 people. Not everyone wants to run through 80 soul gems a night.

I have no idea what happened in Azura last night. But I do know before I left Chillrend-both of our two largest guilds claimed to have groups going and yet Ep crowned emp with little resistence that I saw. A lot of fun at Ash defending wave after wave of ad and ep but at no point was Ales sieged and reclaimed until it was too late. You may have numbers at your back but you lack map strats. And none of you listen to advice in zone. You simply think "we have a gazillion players ergo we knoes our $hiz!"

Don't know where you're getting this from. Both Nemesis and Shortbus have tryout guilds that ANYONE is allowed to join, and as long as they show they're willing to learn and adapt to our tactics they get to play with us. Just goes to show how clueless you and npk daniel really are when you say we turn down/don't work with new players.

You are obviously trying to start *** with NPK and me. No clue why, but it's obvious. I didn't specify you, nemesis, or shortbus. You felt the need to specify yourself.
we're part of DC, the faction you happen to be talking about. How can you say that dc is full of elitist yet we have several guilds (not just the ones i listed, those were just examples!) who are willing to work with players who want to learn. Id like to hear which DC guilds you're talking about here...

Not sure how im the one starting *** when it was your glorious leader Daniel who said that because we enjoy running small groups, we are elitist who only care about AP farming and do not help the faction. Sorry for pointing out how stupid that is :), not everyone needs to run 48 mans to be efficient. Quality over quantity.

So what I'm reading is, you don't like ONE comment he makes, and you keep seeking an argument.
wasn't just 1 comment. Im done though, you guys are so clueless it hurts.

I can only speak for the EU server but the main issues I have during prime time are:
    • Extreme lag with roll-backs etc
    • No outgoing damage
    • Only fall damage and steel tornado as incoming damage
    • Cant use my skills
    • Cant use doors
    • Cant use siege
    • Game crashes

Its not even possible to pvp when the servers are pop-locked so its no strange so many chose to leave.

Let this sink in since we're SO huge:

During peak times we have 140+ online. We typically only have about 25% of our online population in pvp at once. If people talk junk we can get to about 50%. Imagine if we had close to 100% participation one night...

    :-)

This is a very amusing thread. Perfect for a Friday at work. Here is what I have learned so far.....

    - There is a mystery man named Grom that either has a love child or is the love child of Agrippa and looks like Artie Lange
    - DC has the best small group/solo fighters in all of Tamriel
    - Fengrush is not happy that Vehemence thinks a full raid is small group
    - Some DC don't realize that it is the large zerg running around that allow the smaller groups to get things accomplished
    - According to EP and AD, they never zerg (comical)
    - NPK Daniel's zergs can't be big enough.
    - Players from the EU server just realized there are bugs and lag

Oh, and don't forget, everything that NPK Daniel has, or has done, he owes to a mysterious benefactor named J he seems to have forsaken.

Is J really Mr. J? The Joker?

Does that make Daniel J's 'Puddin''?
