Suggestion: Making waypoints visible while in a party

Not sure if this is the right place to put this thread, but could not find anywhere else that seems more appropriate...

I was questing with my wife (who is still really new to the game) and while playing, she got really frustrated that she could not accurately tell me where she wanted to go next.

It would be really useful not only for small group content, but other group encounters (looking at you group split on Hel Ra... and PvP objectives...) so that players could have an understanding of where to rally/move to.

If anyone else has any thought on this, please feel free to let me know

You guys do know that any member of a party can ctrl-click the map to create a marker which persists for a few seconds? (Although this is a little annoying since it makes you fall off your horse into a crouch, even though you're pressing Ctrl while on the map screen.)

And that the group leader can shift-click to set a rally point which persists for minutes, and also shows up on the radar?

Are you looking for something beyond this?

I was looking for something that would let you do multiple way points (preferably different colors) so you can either set a trail of "breadcrumbs" or indicate where you want 2 (or more) different players/partys to go.

Well... there's this addon (Harven's Custom Map Pins) that says that let's you share custom pins with other players, as long all of them have the addon installed.

Never used the 'share' part, but I have installed the addon and the part about adding multiple custom pins for your personal use worked perfectly for me.
