It's really depressing that we don't have this already and not even any idea when we can expect it. It would have to be one of the easiest feature requests to implement, given that at least ~85% of the code for it could probably be lifted straight from the already existing character creation screen.

lol no eta?! whatever... another disappointment, is that damn hard to add a option that lets you remake your apereance of your char? instead of doing useless streams telling us nothing, go and code a barber shop. no new nothing cause "eso comes to consoles" i bet after that they wont give us anything new cause you know... they prepare eso for phones. pissed of and disappointed.

I heard something similar way back to like this time last year. If it is something of that much importance that you are definitely planning to do in the so called future, don't you think it should have been out now?

The delay is probably because they are sifting through ideas and legal paper work on how best to monetise on the barber shop :P

Honestly a feature that should have been implemented already when the dying system was.

Speaking for the many players I've talked with about some of this stuff I would hope you guys move this to the front burner with console release passing by soon. Not in place of new content no, but its basic MMO stuff and sorely needed. Barbershop/race change/name change - all that stuff is wanted by many and would make some $$.

I sincerely hope that this does not throw you into a full edit. That is both insane and scary, because you could accidently screw up your character (and I am against this changing your appearance *** anyway in real life too).

Would be nice if simple options like "I want a haircut".

Jewelry shouldn't have anything to do with this. Laughable that it gets mentioned along with it.

The stuck-on-with-super-glue adornments need to be clipped. Replace with full jewelry items just like other armors. Oh, and make amulets show.

A barbershop would be awesome! I mean not so much of a trim of the current hairstyle, but the ability to re-choose from any of the currently available styles/colors.

At some point down the road I hope the mages of Tamriel develop some magic that's powerful enough to transform gender and race too.

Personally I really want to have two features in this flavor...

Barbershop for "everyday" changes, like hairstyle, makeup, adornments, etc.; that one should only cost gold (as should the dye system for that matter, not like there's much to do with your gold after a while), and should also over time get more and more new options, new hairstyles, new tatoos, new adornments, some tied to achievements much like new dyes (don't those justice system achievements scream for "criminal tatoos"?

) and some sold in the crown store (I heard lots of people would like to wear their beards sai sahan style...)

Character recustomization feature for "structural" changes, like body shape, skin/eye color, voice, etc., perhaps even gender and race, namechange could be thrown in with it as well; that one would charge crowns, and optimally not a big charge to open the character editor and do whatever you like, but a small charge depending on how many changes you make... Adding to the final cost for every slider you move, perhaps even different charges depending on which slider, some things may cost more then others to change... (the body shape sliders may be cheaper then changing the skin color, for example...) and in the end, you have a final cost dependend on how much you really changed, and can either revert to try again until satisfied, or press the "make it so" button and pay the final cost to change your character appereance to your new "perfect" version...

It's only been 2 months since update 6 and console hasn't been released yet. I would guess at least another 2-3 months before there's any sort of update or patch that changes anything significant. You heard it here first.
