Vicious Ophidian - Yet another broken set

I recently have finished my 5 piece Vicious Ophidian, which in my opinion one of the hardest sets to obtain as it is a loot drop from the Serpent in Sanctum Ophidia or top tier pvp rewards only to find out in Cyrodil the 3 and 5 piece bonus do NOT work upon player kills, i have been testing the set out in Cyrodil and upon killing enemy players you do NOT receive the 75% speed increase and 2k stamina reward upon kills.

I am very disappointed in yet another broken set and i request that this gets fixed ASAP

    I'm betting the tooltip description is wrong too. The 664 weapon crit probably should read "4 items" not 3.

    Well then I would ask if you are getting the 664 weapon crit with the 3 pieces just to be thorough about it.

    I think they need to step though all the sets and change the ones that aren't useful /fix the ones that don't work right.

    Sounds like a reasonable task.

    Seems strange that what is listed as the 3 Piece Bonus should really be the 5th Piece Bonus. And that there are 6 bonuses listed on the set.

    From what i can tell, the Sanctum Ophidia sets from Infal aether to eternal yokeda, all 3 piece bonus are the 5 piece bonus of the old Aether / Yokeda or similar to

    Maybe the math of all those perks was too complicated for the programmers or the system to handle.

    So the set does not recognize that player that's trying to kill you as an enemy. Figures. I know this set is incredibly difficult to obtain so I am totally sympathetic to your plight. Unfortunately there are so many other fubar things in PvP one tends to get numb about it after a while.

    SO MANY weapon and armor sets in ESO are out right useless or plainly over shadowed by other sets that are flat out better than them. this needs to be fixed.

    I thought they removed all "upon killing enemy" perks from sets when in cyro?
    Including the sets YOU CAN ONLY GET IN CYRODIIL :tongue:

    I could be mistaken tho, has been known to happen... from time to time

    But why should i get stamina + speed from killing a NPC and not from players i kill on same resource?

    Don't worry, this gear is mainly useful for grinding goblins only. You should have no need for the bonus, or this set when doing PvP (use Hunding's instead if burst build, and Skirmisher or Air if sustain).

    orrrr i could use whatever set i want to and it not be broken? how about that

    with my current build, i have great sustain whilst hitting hard on my dk and nightblade whichever i use the build on, problem is, i would really like my sets which i worked hard to obtain to work to its full capacity.

    Hmm, it's been a little over a week since I last used this in PvP, but I was getting the speed boost fairly regularly. I'll have to go in with it again and make sure it wasn't just teammates attacking NPCs or something.

    Are you sure you had the killing blows on those players?

    The vengeance leech set bonus is similar to this one, procs frequently in PVE as I'm killing lots of mobs frequently, but in PVP it procs less often, only when I land the killing blows.

    I made a Death's Wind set that when you have the 5 full pieces, if you drop below 35% heath, enemies are knocked back like 3 meters and stunned for 4 seconds. Does that happen in PvP? Nope, you just die and no one gets knocked back or stunned, so maybe they disabled those features in PvP?

    Im positive, ive made sure in 1 v 1 duels with friends and still nothing, neither stam or speed proc

    On a related note, didn't weapon critical used to be a percentage? Now it's an integer? Or is the integer here used to determine the percentage through some complex secret formula that only ZOS and Jimmy Fallon know?
