keep going or start over?

I have a sorce in full cloth and destro staff blah, but i have become attracted to heavy armor melee sorce. So my question is should i keep going with my lvl 15 vamp sorce and try to pick up the melee weapon and heavy armor now or start over due to lvling thos thing might be slow now, same with my Dk i wanna try a caster cloth dk but atm its melee heavy lvl 14.

keep going. It is easy enough at level 15 to pick up new skills, be effective while leveling those skills. Added bonus is it is good to level different skills for later in the game when you may want to try/change your character set up

At those early levels you will have no problems at all to retrain your characters. You might be short on skill points to spend on the new passives and abilities, but you can respec for reasonable amounts of gold. Later, during the endless VR leveling, you will have plenty of opportunity to get 250 skill points and train most skills to maximum. As long as you are happy with your choice of class and race, there is no need to roll a new character just to train a different set of skills.

Sorc is the absolute worst class for doing a melee/stamina build. You can still do it, but it would be much better on any other class.

Also, you can easily run multiple builds on one character. By the time you are level 50 and start getting VR levels, you will have multiple weapons maxed out to 50, all your class skill lines maxed out at 50, and the other skill lines maxed out too.

My main has every weapon maxed out. If I want to run a magicka build, I simply respec my skills, put on different armor, and I'm good to go. It's very easy to switch your builds on one character, and many players do this to play all roles (tank, healer, DPS).

Keep going! Explore other skills too. Wear a piece of medium armor to slowly level it. For melee, pick up both 2-handed and DW and see which one you like best.

You can keep leveling and exploring new skills even after you hit the level cap. My NB is only now trying out some skills that I overlooked and she's been max level for months!

When you hit end-game your build won't work.

Medium armor is the way to go, and Sorcs do not perform well in any melee/stam build.

If you're looking for heavy armor, consider being a tank.

Best class for tanking are currently DKs.

It's up to you. It's very easy to cure vampirism, so you can try it with it and if you feel that you are taking too much damage from fire, get rid of it.

out of all the heavy tanky like class combos what would you suggest for good soild dps ? dk or templar if either?

Sorcs make good tanks, too. I've run vet dungeons with sorc tanks.

WW would give you passives to stamina which would help that build more. On the new gear you get, put training on it so those skills level up faster.
