has anyone ever done Craglorn quests?

First of all, i want to point out that my English is not my first language so I'm sorry if i made any grammatical mistakes.

Craglorn is unplayable zone, I only go there to see WTS advertisements, for trials, or DSA. I remember while back that i did couple of quests in there like Shada, Warrior Code and few others, and they were REALLY fun.

the problem is, i was leveling up my alt and i was sick of grinding xp. so i thought to do couple of Craglorn quests at least i get xp and it would be more fun than to just grind 24/7. Apparently, They nerfed the whole zone (not only the grinding locations) to the ground and even the rewards for finishing quests are awful. Keep in mind quests like Shada and warrior code take forever to complete and above that the reward sucks.

For me it's like the whole zone doesn't exist, it really sucks because quests there are really fun but there is no point doing them!!

in my opinion, they need to fix the xp gaining and reward system in the zone like getting nirnhoned or good sets like monster or others. it's really shame they leave a good area like that!!

That's my opinion, don't you agree?

I've done it, with my wife and nice people of my guild. I've done most of the quests multiple times and for me, Craglorn is/was the best experience in the game.

For me, the point in doing the quests/playing the game is fun and for me, the fun I have has no connection to the reward.

Yes, I have fully completed Craglorn on my main character, and my other two VRs are working through the zone right now.

I love the quest line there and the daily quests are fun.

I agree that they need to do something about the XP, because in trying to curb grinding they went a little bit too far IMO.

The quest rewards are, unfortunately, on par with other quest rewards in the game. Mostly vendor trash with the exception of the one that gives you a nirn-traited item and two that give you purple glyphs.

I think ZOS needs to work on the quest rewards in general. Not make them give you a BiS item or anything, but maybe something like a unique set?

I still do the quests, because for me, the point of doing them is that they are fun. I don't care about the rewards so much that a bad reward will be a deterrent from doing an otherwise fun quest.

The guild I am in has a Craglorn night where we work on the MQ. Spent 3 hours up there one evening working on the quests. Went into about 8 different dungeons and delves, killed countless bosses and generally had a good time. But, I barely moved either my Exp bar or my CP bar. Now, the character I took up there is VR6. I go into a zone with level appropriate dungeons and in 30 minutes gained a VR Rank and a CP doing one dungeon and one delve..

So, Craglorn is for doing the quests and farming Nirncrux, not for leveling your character.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Did a few quests on my Nightblade on VR 14 and almost all on my Templar VR 8. It's not really ideal if your main goal is exp.

    I do them because:

    - some of the dungeon zones look incredible beautiful on 1440p and ultra+ settings
    - I am somewhat an achievement hunter and therefore I wanne do at least the two major questlines to get the quests for the three major group instances in there, so that all group delves will show up in nice white "explored" color at last.

...and most important: I actually found a group who want to do them too.

I admit (and that might be the major crux with that zone and finding a group), that the replay value - even by using the repeatable quests - is not high.

Sometimes the prey turns and nips us... it's a small thing.

So let the snow flakes and unicorns dance alone until they melt or vanish from existence, we will finish up with those smart enough to stay in the glowing circle of love.
