I agree with everything you said @NewBlacksmurf.

I think *COUGH-SencheTigerMount-COUGH*... oh.. AHEM... excuse me. something in my throat. Now, er... lost my train of thought.
hehehe.
They just should offer transfer service between the platforms. I wish I can come back to PC and Ive no problems to pay for it.

You mean like to permanently move one character to another platform?
The issue is the saves are account based by NA or EU rather than per character based (when transferring) or at least that is how ZOS conveys this.
They won't even allow transfers on pc from NA to eu or vice versa. Maybe if the server and file types are one day purged and redone this will be possible.
Or maybe I read their comments wrong
It can't be a crown service as the three companies have completely separate stores.NewBlacksmurf wrote: »They just should offer transfer service between the platforms. I wish I can come back to PC and Ive no problems to pay for it.

I mean exactly the same thing what they are giving us now. Let us transfer from PC to consoles. Why cant it be Crown Service? Some console player might buy PC and want to transfer to PC, for example.

I don't have any issues with offers but I do have a HUGE personally issue with devaluing an offer cause some ppl missed out.
That's my issue to deal with tho.
Regarding Microsoft and Sony offering transfers, there is absolutely no value to them offering any such offers monetarily.
I was VERY surprised to see what was offered so I purchased it as soon as I saw it just in case. Expensive offer but VERY generous considering the console looses $40 up front and then looses all the revenue of items earned and purchased from ZOS directly.
People don't realize what they're asking for when they say open the offer back up. Anyways, you won't see me on PS4 but I'll be on Xbox One.
Enjoy and good luck to all others.
Who knows, we still may have a third hoop with another deadline to jump through in order to get the copy
:-)

Same, i think opening it back up will devalue it for all those who actually bothered to keep even a little track of ESO to Console.
Also Xbox One, will be interesting to see how it fares
I agree with the OP that transfers should be an option in the future. I don't think it would devalue the Account Copy, since that was ~£15 for duplicating all of your characters, all of your progress, all of your items, and a copy of the game.
Anything available in the future would require that you separately purchased the game (possibly twice) for £50, and would be paying ~£20 on top of that for the transfer, which would be a transfer, not a copy.
Transfer options I would like to see:
- Account Server Switch -- £20. This would take all characters from one server, and put them on the other. (NA -> EU and EU -> NA at the same time, for any platform, but only within that platform.)
- Account Platform Transfer -- £25. This would take all characters from both servers on one platform, and put them on the servers of the other platform. (PC -> PS4/XB1, PS4 -> PC/XB1, XB1 -> PC/PS4)
If they ever work out how to move characters separately from accounts (which would be great for PTS), then you could have a Character Server Switch for £12 or a Character Platform Transfer for £15.
OK sure, I guess I didn't think about the initial purchase and the sub cost of April - June (I assume that's what you're referring to?)NewBlacksmurf wrote: »I agree with the OP that transfers should be an option in the future. The issue with this is, the value and the cost wasn't $20.
It was more like $100 - $300 all together.
At the cheapest, its a min of $80
If it was offered for an additional $80 - $100 then I'm OK with this being added as a service but otherwise, its not O K.
I actually did the same - got my Xbox One transfer, don't have one yet :PI must be the odd ball here, I ordered the transfer for both the PS4 and the XB1 and have yet to own either console.
I went ahead and purchased it as a "Just in case" assuming I will eventually get one or both consoles,,, I always do,,,, eventually.

Yes. I'm not getting ESO on Xbox One for $20, I had to pay for the original on PC first. I got lucky and found an Explorer Pack box discounted on Amazon when the transfer was originally offered so my cost is still $60 if we don't add in the Xbox One I bought specifically to play ESO and the subscription I maintained because nobody made me do that. But, it took no more effort than visiting this official forum and checking my email to know about the offer and to take advantage of it when the time was ripe. I do feel that it is devaluing everything if suddenly, after a year of put downs whenever anyone mentioned the console version, the forum is flooded with entitled whiny-babies who think they are being deprived unfairly.
