That would be cool, Although, melee magicka weapon would make better since the game already has
3 melee stamina, 2 ranged magicka, 1 ranged stamina, 0 melee magicka. Would be cool IMO.

For this reason, I think Hand-to-Hand (when and if we get it) should be Magicka-based to synergize with Light Armor and the whole "monk" vibe. I wouldn't mind it using some sort of "fist rune" that we could craft with Enchanting.

Back on topic, though, we NEED polearms, like, YESTERDAY. OKRRRRR?

Why not baby arms instead?

Why not a Kuato transmog ultimate skill with baby arms that stretch out and fold space sending all in its radius to the nearest wayshrine or keep? It's clearly lore appropriate.

Polearms
Spear+Shield
Fisticuffs / Khajiit Martial Arts
Fear/Illusion Staff
Poison/Disease 'Corruption' Staff

I like the idea of the martial arts having potentially magical or stamina components. Why not? That's pretty awesome actually. In fact other weapon styles might have use for that. Stamina skills for staves is pretty logical, extremely logical actually. The techniques used with a quarterstaff are the same as used for the spear, the only difference is a spear has a more lethal end on it. Many of the npc's use a 2hander bash that drops lightning. These kinds of morphs would be fantastic, across the board for all weapon skill lines.

I do not think their graphics engine can handle the awesomeness that this would be and do it justice!
