PC to Console Character Transfer, Subscription question
Hi, if I qualify for a character transfer to console and I know it just copies the characters to the console and then they both are separate. BUT are both of them still covered in my ESO plus subscription? Or would I need two subscriptions (one for pc and one for console) if I plan on doing both?

✭✭✭✭✭You would need two different subs as the crowns are also seperate and will not transfer.

✭I've been wondering about this a bit myself. I currently play the PC version, have been since launch, but intend on getting the PS4 version so I can play with a friend (who I have tried to turn towards the PC version, but alas, he remains unwaivering). But I wonder, if I were to transfer my characters and everything over to the console version, would I then lose my characters on the PC version? Or do they just copy them and leave the PC characters where they are when they send them to the console server? While it would be nice to have some of my pre-existing characters available on the PS4 version, I'd hate to lose them on the PC version, where I've met and play with so many other friends. Some clarification on that end would also be appreciated.1 -

I have been a subscriber since launch and went ahead a paid the 20 for the transfer to both consoles, 20 per console. There is no way I can justify paying a subscription for all 3 platforms. If you are a current subscriber on one platform you should at least get a pretty substantial discount if you want to subscribe on one or both of the other platforms.0 -

They said it wouldn't work that way even in 2013 before it released on any platform.

I could easily want to play on all 3 platforms. I have some friends who will be on each platform. I would stick with PC as my main but hop on whatever console my other friends happen to be playing on at the time if I wanted to play with them. I guess this is absurd ...0

Many people could want to and no one is prevented but the progress is seperate so at a certain point...the logical question is why are ppl complaining about seperate subs, progress, etc
