154 currenty. I get around 1 per day. Also went on vacation and I have other things RL (wife, kids and work and other games). I did play last weekend as I could get 4 CP quick due to enlightment accumulated thanks to vacation.

Still, no hurries. Grinding is bad for your health. Seen a few people grinding as soon CP was available. After 2-3 weeks they left the game because grinding mostly equals no fun.

Im curious who messed up pvp will be when players start reaching 360 CPs and get the Tactican passive which sets everyone off balance that misses an attack.

I tried it allready it doesn't work at all in PvP and the effect in pve is only the vulnerability to heavy attacks mobs get when you interrupt a spell or block a heavy attack. It is not even the stun you normaly get form doing that. It really only is the vulnerability to heavy attacks.

So yeah this isn't a good passive at all

A genuine question here.... on the PTS before 1.6, 3600 CP was god mode... doesn't that take away some of the enjoyment?

I mean its not like there's an endless supply of difficult content in the game currently... and even in PvP, being able to just annihilate everybody as you are so much more powerful must just get very boring surely!?

I just hit 160 last night! It's kind of insane to think about how long it will take to obtain the full 3600... I average 1 a day during the week and on the weekends I typically acquire 4 to 6.

At my current pace, it will take me 7+ years to acquire the remaining amount of CP's. Gawd I hope ZOS implements something within the next year to greatly speed that up... it is really difficult to encourage friends to pick the game up if their intent is PvP simply because as a brand new player... you have to first hit level 50 before you can even get CP... and at this point, new players are so far behind...

I love ESO so I am not going anywhere anytime soon... but it would be nice to NOT have such a steep grind...

The time to reach VR14 is significantly reduced by the enlightenment so its not all bad.

Enlightenment does not reduce the XP needed for veteran ranks. It just makes each XP count 4x towards Champion points.

Now, one advantage of looking at CP is that it breaks down the Veteran rank into more manageable chunks, whether you are enlightened or not.

Well I only had I think 35 when 1.6 dropped (too many alts to have any VR14s or otherwise hit the 70 CP max for conversion), and as of last night I'm up to a total of 98. Not too impressive when you look at some of the other totals here, but I now have 6 VR characters, so I'm now gaining XP towards CPs almost every time I play (I've still got 2 characters on my main account who aren't VR yet), whereas before I was only gaining it maybe 25% of my play time.

tested the passive, you get more items from the chests, not higher quality

small note, it does NOT affect the chests from dolmens, but I did have one instance where I got 3 vr14 martial knowledge items from one cyrodiil treasure map

Well they should change the description too.Also there is a post here of a guy who tested it in PTS and 1 of his screenshots shows he looting a treasure map chest,in it you can see 1 set item,1 blue and 1 purple sword,yup 1 purple so I think yes it increase the rarity.Im lazy right now to give u a link but just search Treasure Hunter in this forums.
