    A few months...

Who cares about the first few month in an mmo...?

Go swag your yolo somewhere else @uberkull, I'm not buying it.

You said it wrong, 'console' MMO. Attention span of console players is much shorter. Being beaten down by PC transfers in pvp, the core of a competitive console player due to all the pvp games on console, and the inability to grasp how the game works without seeing text chat showing bits and pieces of the 'life' of a MMOs. These items equal a questionable community after a few months.

Speculation & opinion. You know nothing.

Your doom & gloom, apocalyptic preaching schtick is wearing thin. If you would bother to look, you'd find that no one really cares about these things you're fixated on. The game will do just fine on console. Deal with it.

Cool story. Your signature says it all.

It does, doesn't it? Thanks for the endorsement. :)
I wish nothing but joy for everyone.

Gamepad and every group using (or at least listening to) voice... can't wait either.

As to VR14 transfers and balancing etc... yeah some players are into getting to the top, grabbing the best gear AND THEN playing against others... they're compensating for something :)

I'm transferring to the PS4 but once I've done that, I'm starting a new character to meet new people, make new friends and level with the AD wave.

Last thing I'd want to do is join a vet-only guild and roll over the noobs with OP VR14s and listen to all the faded and jaded guild chat.

MMOs are always most fun when they're new and fresh and playing with a bunch of people to whom it IS new will be great fun and motivational.

LOL. All arrogant bias opinions and assumptions.

Even back in the day Phantasy Star Online was huge during the console dial up days.. The game was popular till the end. You are blinded by the peasant console mentality.

He's right. I have a pessimistic view of console gaming overall in today's world. But these PC xfer's of all their VR14's, gold, and items doesn't sound like it's going to create much of a fair and balanced environment...

Have to agree with this I'm afraid.....

and to play Devil's Advocate here........

@BrassRazoo, what if the guy who just killed you has brought a transfer?

The thing about PvP is that anyone dies and character level is no content for skill.
Other than that, we are so separated by content and levels that ppl copying over Vr's only helps other VR folks or console only that speed through 50 levels....this is a good thing vs bad.

I don't see why there is any assumption otherwise
    1. Massive amounts of gold to lock down trader locations
    2. Ultimate supremacy in PVP due to VR and item quality gap
    3. Large CP advantage on launch

Don't use the PC experiences and assume they will move to console.
The trader locations and PvP or CP don't really amount to much in the grand scheme of things.

It's not them against all fresh console players. They are playing WITH others guys/gals

Sometimes, no most the time, I wonder what planet you come from because you don't seem to apply logic or common sense.

Those are all facts stated in his/her post:
[*] Massive amounts of gold to lock down trader locations
[*] Ultimate supremacy in PVP due to VR and item quality gap
[*] Large CP advantage on launch

Summed up in one sentence. Transferred VR14 characters that have accumulated millions of gold, champion points, and superior gear will dominate for a few months on console.

    - Millions of gold allows for locking down top guild traders for weeks, if not months.
    - Transferred VR14 characters will dominate PVP and hold Emperor spots for months.
    - Transferred players will have superior low level characters because they have champion points to use on new characters.

    It's not fantasy, it's fact.

In MMOs people come nd people go. There are always new players around. So lets say for a example a new player wanna start playing eso now. What version of the game will be the most fair compared with the other option? Console or pc?

With your logic, everyone that have not started playing an MMO within the first 3 months should never bother with it because of unbalance. Yes ZOS could not allow transfers and the console would be as a new MMO starting..they had that option.

But even as it is it seems better than pc, while you make it sound worse...like what MMO can i join now and be equal with others?

Yeah, me and my Wife are looking forward to Console release. We don't have super high level characters on PC, but what we are doing is earning money, gathering resources etc. to help new players and to stock our guild bank to help new users get started.

I have tried to get some of my crafting on 2 characters as high as I can before June 1st, this way I can craft items for new players as well.
  • Pizza_Magician
I can wait, been waiting for years...

PVP is just a portion of this game and there will always be someone with better gear, or someone who figured out a better build or rotation. But that is part of why we play, to become better.

If you're really into PVP you should probably join a PVP guild and just learn how to steamroll 24/7.

Dont worry bud consoles players will catch up quickly especially from the Destiny crowd and our no lifers.
Then the casual market comes in and they dont care because they play at their pace so they couldn't keep up if they tried.
But they are normally happy to keep at a steady pace.

Also to the rest fanning the flames of hate to consoles lol just stop.
If your not transferring then it does not affect you and if you are then sure you will have an advantage for a moment.

If you have played destiny or warframe you should know not to doubt console players.

    This should end it. :D

Yes exactly this. PvP will be one big fail for sure.. GL being lvl 10+ whos fresh started game vs transfered OP geared VR14 char

Otherside PvE probably will be enjoyable for console comunity for 1 month or so till they hit VR1 and then they will realise its not over yet.. its only the begining, the kk of exp needed to hit vr14 awaits u <3

ZOS should remove VR b4 console release ages ago.. Maybe it would help..

Yeah maybe they will catch up with lvl, if they are pro grinders, but sets? U need a lot of AP to get best pvp sets (as stamina user for sure), even so, u need at least 6 traits researched to get not bad pvp sets.. I imagine prices on console servers, hunting rage set only 100k !! For sure "fresh transfered" players wont have any mercy and will overprice evrything, not all of them but a lot.. Gold won't be a problem for them, during they preparation for a transfer they farmed crazy amount of gold i bet.. Remember, few are enough to create a market.. Not mention und sets..

I am no trusting ZOS anymore, i am here from cbeta (well doing one pledge daily, and switiching to Blade and Soul, but lets say i am still here).. Things are not fixed since 1 year, promised content not released.. Same will be with console release..

ZOS policy, drain as much money as we can from our cleints with our "soso- fail" mmo, then release TES: VI and drain even more money..

Wait you think cadwells silver and gold is going to bother console players who have over 300 hours played on skyrim with no mods?

Someone said earlier console players have a short attention span, if it wasn't for mods PC players drop interest in a game soon as the next game comes out. I have s feeling eso will last a lot longer on console than it will on PC because as soon as the next MMO comes out most of you will be gone from here on the express hype train.

So you have to wait a little for content while they fix their promise to the console players its ok. :)

    No, it's not okay.

I've been around since the beta weekends and through launch. We've been waiting a hel of a long time for some decent content, some of us for Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild especially, and now it's on hold again.

So no, no it's not okay. A lot of us stopped subbing because of the lack of content coming out. A lot of people lost a lot of faith in ZOS because of the issues over the past year. ESO doesn't have a great reputation in a lot of gaming communities but you say it's okay to wait for content....

In this one, since they went infinite progression rather than incremental increases; just about all other MMOs would be easier to catch up on in between seasonal gear and the occasional level increase since the maxed out players are indeed "maxed out" at the same place for a while.

So yes; people come and people go in MMOs but I think this one will eventually see where it made it harder for people to come than go.

Why does this person continue to complain when they can play on PC and get what they want....weird.

Anyways, I'm super excited and after spending time on Destiny this week I'm even more excited as I'm meeting more and more ppl who are also jumping on TESO for Xbox.

Ha economy is ruined before the game comes surprised people are saying it won't be because it will. Even a lot of hardcores that try to be the best progression wise will be sick when they find out pc transfers are allowed with no way to catch up. Casuals won't be able to play with their friends due to the fact it's so easy to out lvl ur buddy if he's not on and once u hit max lvl for a casual months to hit vr 14. I love eso but let's face it. Doesn't stand a chance on consoles. I give it two months before the drop off in population is noticeable

Super agree. After a few weeks to a month of PvP, half of the console PvP crowd will be back to Call of Duty.

I hope that's true it's mainly Xbox that focuses on PvP. So when it flops there it can be dropped on Xbox. Then ps4 and PC can finally be linked up without Microsoft having one of their *** fits.
