Made it from Bal Foyen to Vvardenfell.

A while ago a player posted a screen shot of him standing on a barren Vvardenfell. He wouldn't say how or when he got there. I believe this was during beta, when slaughter fish were too busy spawning to notice him. I'm stilling working on how to get to Vvardenfell from Stonefalls, but I did figure out how to get to Vvardenfell from Bay Foyen. The first part of the video shows how I did it, and the end of the video contains a slideshow of what the coastline looks like if you could swim to it. I used screen shots because the original video was too long to post to Youtube, so I just included some of the main screenshots from the original video. I place comments on video too.

Originally, I used this secret door in Bal Foyen to see how much of Stonefalls was included in the Bal Foyen zone, and it never occurred to me that there may be a way to cross the Vivec Sea because the Vivec sea extends the east end of the Bay Foyen zone, but I noticed that on the west side of the Bay Foyen zone there was a stretch of coastline that at the time didn't interest me much.

Although you can actually crouch under water on the east part of the Bal Foyen zone, you get killed by slaughter fish as soon as you touch the surface of the water when reaching the Vvardenfell coastline.

The video is interesting because the first part of the video shows areas of Bay Foyen that most players will never see. Accessing this area isn't easy and you need to be a sorcerer with the streak ability to do what I did in the video. What makes Bay Foyen and Stonefalls unique is that both are surround by flat vertical cliffs around most of the playing zones making it extremely difficult to find a way to breach the zone's forbidden areas.

I sped up some of the video to make it fit within 6 minutes. The video is recorded at 1080p, so if you want to watch it at that resolution you will need to switch to Youtube and change the view options to 1080p.

Enjoy!

With the exception of Audiron and Cryodiil, I managed to defeat the invisible walls in every other zone. I have a large number of stuff that I haven't posted yet.

I still trying to get to Vvardenfell from Stonefalls, but after 12 hours of trying I can't get through the mountain range that surrounds the northeast part of the Rift, and I'm still not sure if that strategy will work. The ocean in Stonefalls extends east to the end of the zone so it is impassible. The route through Riften is the only other alternative. I'll take a break for awhile and try again later.

Until I get to Vvardenfell from Stonefalls, I don't consider myself the chosen one. It's an itch that I got to scratch.

You should have taken that ship in the beginning of the video, it would have saved you some time.

    jk ofc, nice video

Ah, it reminds me of texture bug in Cyro when you could travel round and explore world from different angles. Sadly, *** used this bug for jumping to enemy alliance respawn point and kill everyone.

I don;t often say this but ZOS should seriously consider you for their QA team. IT would make logical sense imo.

RSram thank you for your videos! I'm actually subscribed to you on YouTube as I have been testing some of your guides.

I will have to try this one when I get back from shopping this morning, I would imagine ZOS will start to patch some of these out but they're fun things to do for veteran players who have played most of the content.

    Thanks for the replies.

I have have some really far out rock, air, and streak climbing videos that I am working on. In one of them, I am walking in mid air, it looks really awesome, especially when you see how I did it.

What amazes me the most is how much wasted geometry that surrounds the active zone, and all of this stuff is stored in your computer's memory and you will never see it unless your poking around like me; for example, even though you can't see Glemnumbra, and Bangkori while in the active Alik'r Desert zone, large parts of these zones still exist and take up resources. The entire Strromhaven zone was included too. Windmills are turning, camp fires are burning, machinery in the Dwemer Ruins running, and etc. even if ZOS is using mesh instances, its still a waste of resources.

It would have made more sense to just use a backdrop to simulate a distance coastline, like the special effects teams do in movies.

You get to Vvardenfell, instead of slaughterfish you immediately get swarmed and killed by Cliff Racers
Then an Ordinator walks up to you and mutters "We're watching you... scum..."
