Console Transfer Happening June 1st!

They should consider transferring ESO Plus, but my guess this is a more technical issue than a policy issue. I will guess that dealing with Microsoft and Sony on a transfer is a major hassle if everything is purchased through the console store. The way they have it set up right now, they have to do bupkis with the console companies to do the transfer.

@Sausage We have known for quite some time that crowns wouldn't transfer. IIRC they even stated that in the email they sent everyone offering the transfer, PLUS linked to a page that said that when you were buying the transfer. As well, the mention on how to cancel ESO plus yada yada was also in the email offering the transfer... so.. not evil.. we knew.

As for research items, check out the dev tracker, as I know there is a recent thread on this. At this time, the items you HAVE researched will be known, but items you are CURRENTLY researching (as of June 1 10AM) will NOT transfer.

I also think it's more so a technical issue..

Oh and cool, I didn't realize it would reset to zero rather than just being gone. WOO!

Any research that is occurring during the time of transfer will have the research timer set to zero (it will restart), and any research that you have already completed will transfer.

Items that you are currently researching will transfer, but the timer will be reset to 0; so the research will start over, but you will not loose the trait you are researching.

On the day of the transfer if you are researching a trait that takes 30 days to research, and you only have 10 days left at the time of the transfer that counter will be reset to 30 days, so on June 1st the timer will start again on the item you are currently researching to 30 and by the time you are able to log on to your account on June 9th you will have 8 to 9 days researched out of the 30 for the item you were researching on your PC account.

Smart thing to do is on the 30th of May start researching items that will take longer than 9 days to research, since you will not be able to play for those days.

Research Progress weill be wiped.

Spend your crowns now, they dont trans becaus th crwon on psn or xbox will be baught from the psn or xb1 plattfomr not from zos directlly. So send a ticked to bill gates

Where did you see this confirmed? The fact that the research item is not lost just a timer reset.

When a developer goes to console they are no longer the direct company but now a vendor.
The vendor doesn't determine how the console company does business nor does the developer handle any monetary transactions.

It's not up to ZOS and never was.
The good news is a lot of this info is on their knowledge base articles.

The bad news is pending research will not carry over

Question... i got email for the account duplicate thing on june 1st then ill get my code to get the game on xbox one, but that's on June 1st, so does that mean ill have to wait until June 9th to pay it on xbox one? or do i get it early like on june 1st? June 1st to June 9th is a lot of days i could advance my character before my June 1st copy becomes active, i would lose progress Because they did the duplicate thing 9 days before release?
