There are two type of camel Bactrian camel with 2 humps (asian) and Dromedary camel with 1 hump (arabic peninsula&Saharan)
Bactrian camel looks easy to saddle and ride actually their humps looks like a natural saddle lol 0 -

And mounts like wamasu,bear and lion can be tamed by races for example ; khajiits can tame lions or argonians can tame wamasus and kagouti or nords can tame bears. Those mounts are lore friendly0 -

If they were lore friendly we would have seen them in use in later eras, people wouldn't all the sudden stop using modes of transportation - nor would it have made sense to see armies of argonians riding bears through Black Marsh. It's about as lore friendly as a dwemer motorcycle.
Not that they've tried to keep mounts lore friendly, though, so we may very well get our lurker and motorcycle mounts.0 -
