Simple Question - Will we have the chance to transfer our accounts POST Console Launch?

If you read what it says under the "Account Linking" section, it states: "To play Elder Scrolls Online on your PlayStation®4 or Xbox One, you need to link your Sony Entertainment Network or Xbox Live account. You can link both a Sony Entertainment Network and Xbox Live account, but no information (characters, progress, etc.) will be shared between them--the accounts are entirely separate. This feature is currently disabled until we launch The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.

This to me suggests that we can link the accounts, and while we would have to create new characters, from scratch, our account profile would be copied over (so any crown store achievements will also carry over). Can we please get a confirmation of this?

What's a "crown store achievement" ?

Besides, I think that "no information (characters, progress, etc.) will be shared between them--the accounts are entirely separate" answers your question.

Like buying a rare mount with crowns through the store, that mount then is no longer available, but it is still on your account so when you transfer, you new character on console would have access to it.

Addressing the question in your title here.....

My understanding is that, No, you will not have the ability for a "transfer" post launch, it's really a copy. The PC-> Console account copy had to of been purchased during a limited time, in which after that time the option is no longer available.

@ZOS can you confirm?

If you consider a purchase as an "achievement" well...

Still I believe that separate accounts mean separate accounts.

Just like, say, I can play on both EU and NA servers with the same copy of the game but I don't think my disguises or other crown store purchases will be available in both. Unless I bought them twice.

If you qualified for the transfer last month and have purchased from the crown store prior to the account copy, Yes, they will transfer. But this will occur pre-launch, not post. Any crown purchases done post launch will more that likely not be shared across the PC/Console accounts. But maybe @ZOS can clarify.

Nam fairly certain this question has been answered in another thread. There have been many questions about what will carry over when the character transfers occur. Try a Google search of the forums with your question.

If you missed a limited time offer, you missed it.......that's not to say they won't offer the exact same thing in the future only with a simple color change. As is the case with the Senche mounts.
