I don't know if I can jump any more than I already do.
The benefit from jumping is so small its basically non existance. Most of the best players never jump in ESO.
Well perhaps not for you nightblade ground dwellers....
For ranged casters, (especially sorcs) who don't rely on stealth it is actually pretty amazing.
As I said, try it for yourself to discover the benefits....they are many and while they're not major the benefits are significant.
Additionally, as stupid as this may sound jumping during idle moments ensures you're always acting (and it never interferes with an action you may want to take) and you will find that your reaction times are much faster if you're always in motion.....much as an RTS player continually does non-beneficial actions to keep his APM up or a martial artist bounces on the balls of his feet.
Most importantly of all, momentum carries in this game. If you jump before getting snared, you will continue at full speed until you land. Similarly, if you get charge rooted while in the air, you will continue moving forward causing the charger to arrive further away from you.
There are more benefits, but where's the fun in giving you all the secrets?

This might sound sad, but whenever I see players jumping around like this my brain says "AVOID" because that behavior almost guarantees they are better than me and will spank me in a fight 99% of the time. However, I have a tendency to ignore this visceral warning 100% of the time then proceed to get walloped.
So, yeah, I guess to anyone reading this: AVOID! (Unless you can't resist the urge, then good luck!)

good video beyond that. wish my sorc was a High elf but i made him in early rleease with the intent to make it a tank... thus imperial...
Just for entertainment and those interested. Please try to leave stupid comments out, but I don't mind constructive criticism though.
