Nope. ZOS has not released any numbers and probably won't until it looks better to do so. Maybe after console if that goes well.

If worse comes to worse console numbers can give you a Decent idea of a minimum number on PC.
atm i dont think that much pc Player a playing teso,
1. gt5
2. witcher 3
3. no dlc, will Change after consoleros
4. summer
atm there (imho) 20k on each server
with the releas of impcity im sure (if the Content is done right) ~500k-1kk Players will play

Based off the twitch stream i remember last was the couch talk i remember seeing like 244k plus people watching.
With any luck a zos mod can step in here and just give us the answer i cannot see why not.
It's only 1-2k people playing on Steam at this moment. There are over 700k members of ESO community on Raptr. I'd say 30-50k subs, 100k players daily on both servers, about 2 million accounts.
I think its safe to say it was too few to keep the game sub-based anyway. And it seems to have kept sliding downhill even after b2p/f2p.
so consolidating all the information above.... let's say we have at minimum: 20 THOUSANDS players.
let's split them NA and EU servers. 10 thousands.
then let's say at maximum, only HALF of that plays at the same time.
that's 5 THOUSANDS players online?
Let's discount it further. Cut it in half again.
2,500... no. 2000.
Every night I play on NA server (on what I consider peak time EST), and I move a lot between 2 ava campaigns, farm some at stuff all around the zones, chat with guildies, run around RP on major city hub.....
I do NOT see a total of 2,000 people in total on any given night.
Let's say maybe HALF is probably doing private instances.
1000 players??? REALLY??
I say BS.
I say anywhere between 5-10k at most, where 1-2k are subs. the rest are casual on-and-off players.

well considering they use "megaservers", If a zone is empty it really is empty... Hmm. You might be on to something. But 5-10k... Could it really be that few?

There were over 240k watchers on the couch stream i am hoping zos comes in here with numbers closer to 1-2 million i cannot imagine eso is falling that low. I remember that data collector site posted like 740k subs last July.
B2p should be bringing in more people

You forget that theres 3 side. Every side has 20 zones with dungeons, delves, etc.
What we know for sure that theres around 50k who read patch notes. Thats maybe half. So I say this game has 100k players.
GTA5 is huge on PC now.. need to wait when it slows down.
According to Steamspy there are approximately 183k owners who purchased through steam specifically and about 43k players last week. http://steamspy.com/app/306130. Also to comment on to forums dying, the ESO subreddit just recently broke it's record high sub numbers with over 45k

There has to be alot more i just cannot see the pc numbers that low.
If it is then i think i understand just how important the console version is to them.

Estimates in the tens of thousands seem to be the general consensus, and it agrees with what I see when I play the game.
The success of the console version is very important to them, and to us if we want to keep playing.
