Armor/Weapon Preview Window....Where?

With armor/weapons being bound upon equipping them why is there not a preview window for us to see how they will look on our characters before we equip them? Been so many times I would really like to see what a crafted item would look like before I bother to craft it. But as things are now I have to make the item then equip it to see what it will actually look like and a lot of the times the tiny little icons that gives you a miserable attempt at showing what it looks like is often incorrect. Seriously, this is something that needs to be implemented. Several other games have it so why cant ESO have it?

Cernow✭✭✭✭It's yet another basic feature which is missing from ESO,
Gear preview is a standard feature offered by the vast majority of MMOs. It is somewhat essential in any MMO that uses a Bind On Equip gear system. Even many early MMOs offered gear previews, but here in 2015 in ESO its clearly not considered something worth bothering with.
As far as I'm aware there's not even an addon that can come to the rescue. Third party websites are no substitute - they aren't necessarily up to date, nor convenient while you are actually playing the game.0
