So I actually was about to make a set of armor for myself.
First of all I goto the set areas and make armor.
Secondly, I go and improve my armor....
30% chance improvement rate
Now what is this nonsense????
30% chance to improve are you serious. And this is just a green AND lvl 32 AND a lvl 1 item.
This is why CRAFTING is done WRONG in this game.
How can I be at 20 blacksmith, 1/3 in temper expertise... YET improving a LVL 32 item has a 30% rate... EVEN the lvl 1 item has a 30% chance.
It's as if the blacksmith levels have no roles.. level 1 items are just as hard as V14 items.
In real life that'd be like making a box... compared to making a mansion... making the box requires the same knowledge/ same skills as making a mansion... which we all know to make a mansion you need some serious skills compared to making a box.
Anyways... The crafting system is done wrong.
It should've been just like the ledgermain system...
A level 1 item is considered EASY... You have HIGH chance rate in improving.
A level 32 item should be considered MEDIUM... You have a Medium chance rate at improving.
None of this... Everything 30% (or lower without the 1/3 in temper expertise), don't give no care about if item is a level 1 or V14... Same % chance rate regardless nonsense.
Pissed off, I cant make a GREEN item for my lower level characters because of this nonsense, and I'm 40% of the way through blacksmithing.
IN EVERY OTHER MMO... low items are dealt with low skills... They don't judge low level items based on your overall blacksmith. You can make the best low level item with medium skill... Not like this game. You pretty much need to be fully maxed in blacksmith to make the best anything, including a LEVEL 1 item...
Level 1 item... ya better get your blacksmith to 50.
What nonsense... So pissed off at this improvement system.
