Is this the Azura QQ thread? Okay cool.

So, I defending Ash against a ton of AD and we were doing a great defense. 2 counter siege for every siege out there. It took them probably 25 minutes to breach the outer. And when they rush in.....everyone lags and DCs. We come back to a lost cause.

So, whoever is to blame. Zos, EP on the other side of the map, the AD that we were fighting. Talos just hates DC (yeah I know Talos isn't around yet..whatevs)....you suck.

Then ad and ep will come to these forums and QQ hard about how there is no competetive campaigns and they can't find anyone to play with.

People are going to mass quit pvp. And it will be OUR fault. It won't matter how ZOS has failed the servers and neglected the issues. Player behavior is the root of the problem.

But actions speak louder than words, no? Look at the map and follow the pop. Ad was poplocked all night on a Saturday night. DC stayed at 3 bars, sometimes 2 and so did ep. If this continues-Azura will die. Yes the dethrone was fun. We dethroned ad on Azura and ep on TB. But this isn't enough to keep morale up or keep people playing.

OTOH, maybe we could all agree to try to keep competition alive by avoiding things like gate camping, pushing a faction's last keeps, painting the whole map one color, etc. ?
I believe I read earlier in this thread from DC people that they feel these tactics are acceptable for them to employ because it has been done to them, and because DC has had it very rough.
I understand that, but I also remember it is the exact same thing that EP said to AD when we complained about them doing it to us, and we all saw how that turned out.
It's a vicious circle, we've all been gate camped, every faction has at one time or another, on one server or another, been zerged down and crushed, and every faction has been guilty of it too. If we keep excusing these tactics by saying "Well, it's fair bc they've been doing it to us," then it will never stop.

Last night on Azura's is easily some of the worst PVP I've been in.

And I've been gate camped for four days straight on Bloodthorn in the past.

That blob of AD, at each keep we tried to hold them off of that they really wanted (E.G.; Chalman for the attempted crowning) lagged so furiously the moment the fight started we had people quitting out of group in disgust. Most of the EP population simply left Azura's entirely once Emperor was actually crowned.

It's been like this since the blob was formed at server reset, from FPS drops running around BRK to intense lag every keep they decide to take where siege fails, stacking flags is the only way to try to save the keep, and the server just craps itself. It's one thing to have a raid 2 raid groups deep, and it's another when it's two organized guilds stacked on top of each other that can't even be dented by one raid group or anything of that nature.

I believe part of that is why people were so desperate to get the EP guilds to de-stack from one server as on Thornblade every EP guild would work together and become exceedingly hard to wipe.

Well, now AD's doing the same thing. I'm not inclined to endure it, and a lot of others aren't either. Why do you think Chillrend and Thorn and Haderus had so many fights and activity last night?

Because it is a deeply unfun experience fighting that blob, AD players.

I play this game for fun, and I'm not here to humor or feed you. Players will leave you to rot on Azura's just like you left EP guilds on Thornblade.

Frankly, that's the only weapon the players have. I hope it's not what ends up happening. I like 30 day campaigns. I want to have alliance mates on Azura's with me.

I usually try not to include myself in this nonsense but I no longer can. Funny how my guild gets called out constantly by EP guilds now for so called zerging. We run in grp of 24..what is the problem with that? Isnt that what the game allows? Do we get followed like other guilds from other factions? y yes we do. EP used to roll thru thornblade and other camps in mass numbers they were the faction to beat. So what now you have competition and no longer steam roll other factions you seek out the forums to start your QQ? Also let me clear up a bit Iam the guild leader of Misfitz and Crown is an officer here. We run in the same guild and same grps so there is not 2 grps running zerging you. So please if you need to label us call us The Zergalicious. We moved as a guild to Azuras to separate us from the rest of AD. AD just followed. Zos is the issue with the lag not the factions or the guilds on them if you have issues with it take it up with them or keep whispering me crying its entertaining.

Despite our recent animosity, Agrippa. You are 110% correct here. Ad behavior last night at every keep was beyond disgusting. Cheating, exploiting, stacking 50+, death lag. Two of my top leaders also logged in disgust. Towards the end of the night it was just myself and my other grand commander either trying to convince our Crew to stay or positing options for another server.

Slaxis, congrats a month in advance for winning Azura. But be prepared to hold the map from 1 bar of dc and 1 bar of ep. Is this really what you guys wanted? The moments where we coordinate are fun, yes. Smashing ep is fun, yes. 3 way battles are fun. Competition when not skewed is fun. Occasionally coordinating with ep is also fun. But all that goes out the window when one faction super uber dominates a server. And you're not dominating because you're just fabulous because if that were the case you wouldn't have lost hold of Chill. You're dominating because darn near your entire faction is crammed in Azura.

Agrippa and Jauriel, you are correct the lag is insane in Azuras right now. Everyone seems to think guilds a working together on AD to do it and that is not the case. Rarely do AD work together to accomplish anything. Its simply everyone rotating to defend a keep and leaving others unguarded. I know we spoke lastnight Jauriel and I pulled my guild out of aleswell so DC could get a foothold. My guild does not cheat or exploit lag to succeed and win. And if other EP or DC guilds would speak to me decently like Jauriel I would be more inclined to pull away and let the fight continue without lag.

I was there, on the AD side. It looked like about 80% of your team DC'd, and about 50% of ours did (Teamspeak was filled with... what you'd expect when a dozen people get dropped at once). We suddenly had a numbers advantage, and the dozen or so of us left cleared out the few you had standing.

We got lucky with the clusterlag that plagues Cyrodiil, at least that time.

I wonder if ZOS can fix this?

EP was shown to be poplocked most the day and night, DC went from poplocked for a time to 3 bars, AD was poplocked all day and into the night.

But you are making claims that 100's of people know to not be true.

FENGRUSH assumed as much was happening.

Can anyone blame AD for doing this? FENGRUSH finds that revenge is being achieved and he is pleased to see it served. Sure the server is being ruined at primetime hours, but it was going to be ruined by EP guilds lagging it just the same.

It was inevitable that this revenge would be brought forth by a huge conglomerate of AD players. FENGRUSH also was able to perform a 1v15 on these AD yesterday and capture glory in its purest form. This will lead to more songs and stories of the legendary FENGRUSH from AD members.

All things considered, Azuras is in pretty good shape for FENGRUSH. Justice is being served to those who would intentionally damage the server stability for the sake of their large groups playing 'the way the game is meant to be played'. Off peak hours theres plenty of blood to find without the devastating lag.

Instead of leaving, get organized.

Honestly most of the current strategies can be learned in a night if you actually use TS, have a leader that leads and followers that listen.

I can't control the entire dc population, Bouvin. I can only organize my ONE guild and don't need you to tell me to do that- we already are organized. But one guild no matter how organized and good can't fend off 4. I wish the other Dc guilds would join me and step up to the heat on Azura. I will continue to hold out hope.

But one guild no matter how organized and good can't fend off 4. I wish the other Dc guilds would join me and step up to the heat on Azura. I will continue to hold out hope.

Currently DC is divided among three servers again, and keep changing it around from night to night

Which you know it doesn't have to pop to fully compete on three servers

Red, you're absolutely correct. The TB exodus was the right thing to do but refusing now to help one another out is going to cause us as a faction to become irrelevent.

Catching up on the forum posts since i left this campaign i gather:

The server cant handle the zergballs
It's everyone elses fault but their own
No one is considering leaving because its other peoples fault
FENGRUSH is still the best player in the game
Jauriel and Winnamine still love ERP
Im very glad to of left on reset and avoid the worst campaign in the game

Sorry, i ment to say the most competitive campaign in the game.

My recommendation is to leave and not subject yourself to what the campaign has to offer. Unless you feel your guild has a few too many members, i doubt playing the rest of the duration would be appealing to everyone.

The two big DC guilds stay apart so we don't have these issues. Maybe the AD leaders should task a similar, responsible path.

I guess winning with the lag is fun for AD. There is no honor in winning a campaign like this.

DC won the last two cycles fighting with mostly lower pops. Get on our level.
