I enjoy instanced dungeons. I usually find a group rather quickly at prime time (no, not with the grouping tool). Just my $0.02.

Try asking in the zone chat for the dungeon's zone. If it's a vet dungeon, go to the second city of your faction - lots of people are there looking for group to do vet dungeons as daily quests or to farm the Undaunted helms that drop from the last boss in vet dungeons.

everytime that I do find a group they're always VR 12 that doesn't help me when I'm a vr6then when I go online nobody else is even in the area except for maybe one doesn't help me to me it feels like the dungeon is impossible to complete

Of course nobody is in the area. Cadwell's zones are emptyish. Dungeoneers gather in the Undaunted Enclaves in your faction's capital - do daily pledges and you should find a group with relative ease. Most people are v12-14 still, but I find myself grouped with lower levels all the time. It's actually better if you're there only for the key, not loot, because then you can scale the dungeon to the lowest level in your group and be done faster.

I tried that many times no luck nobody's on the people that are on have already completed itis pretty sad I think I got oh I don't even have a single vr dungeon complete when I do find a group somebody who's a VR 12 comes in and takes over the group and everybody disbands because they're all lower levels

Well, that's a problem. Perhaps you should try to find a guild from a timezone with similar prime time to your play hours, or try the other server (not sure if possible, late night EU could work on NA, but probably not the other way around).

If are are VR12 or higher your ability to find a group will be reduced by a factor of 10. Everyone grinds up in this game to VR14 for good reason. Search my post history if you want to know why..I'm tired.

im vr14, I help many of my friends and guildies with dungoen runs on their alts, like they do with mine. its like I scratch their back, they return the favor. It is easier also like someone mention to get group for the dungoens you want to run, when its a pledge day and especially in prime time.

Many have also established friends and are in pve guilds, and they will tent to use that first before going global, and spamming lfg in zone chat in other zones then pledge city (deshan if you pact) and craglorn, will be extremely hard getting one.

    my recommendations:
    1. Join 2-3 good pve guilds
    2. Start making your contact list with people that u like playing with
    3. Show people you know your class

If you haven't already try joining a few PVE/Trade guilds which let people find PUG's via that.

The more people you have access to the more likely you are to find someone who is interested in doing the content you want to play.

It's actually not that easy. You need a build for at least 2 roles and make the group yourself, if you want something done in reasonable time in ESO. Than there's the outside of primetime hell, nothing for impatient people.

All these low VR's hanging around the Undaunted Enclave spamming "dd lfg" in zone, I very much doubt they get invited to anything. There's VR14 dd's not getting invited to anything. Like in any MMO, you have to take initiative and make the group yourself, if you want your stuff done.

I doubt players like OP, who never visited a dungeon, feels comfortable leading and setting up a group. So they're in a pretty frustrating situation.

My suggestion would be learning how to tank. Introduction of specialization via CP and the stamina meta, somehow killed 50% of the tanks in this game lol. Being flexible right now, like able to do more than dps, will make a huge difference when it comes to finding groups for dungeons.

thanks for the advice I've tried making groups yeah that didn't turn out all that well that's how I made my one friend who is now gone I've pretty much given up all private dungeons same thing with Craglorn I'm pretty much just at the point where I just want to finish off the last conquest then basically just give up the whole game I definitely do not find it amusing when it takes me longer than an hour to find a group what waste my precious time
