Trying to swim to Morrowind

So I'm trying to get to Morrowind, because I like the Morrowind content better.
Only way I know how to get to Morrowind is to swim there.

But everytime I go swimming, my hp goes down.

I asked people why my HP goes down and they said slaughterfish. Now lemme tell you something, there aint no fish in sight. Then I was thinking, looking in my inventory I have this item called Meatbag catapult. I'm thinking its something u use to feed fishes or sharks with but I asked people anyways and they said its for PvP.. Now what use is a meatbag being thrown at enemies? What are you going to feed your enemies? Hey guys you hungry, going to shoot some meatbags at you... Now now, not all these have sirloin steaks in them, some of them just plain ground beef! But anyways, if ya think about it... How do people from cuba swim to the United States without dying by fishes or sharks nibbling on them? Someone laubber some meat in the ocean with meatbag catapult to distract them? Same way should be for people like myself trying to swim to Morrowind.

I asked people in chat about people swimming to united states and they said people get there with water walking potions. Now that hasn't been necessary since biblical times in Egypt... Theres no way they have access to water walking potions in cuba. Just like how daggerfall and the surrounding areas don't have access to water walking potions. Now if I was in Morrowind.. They sell water walking on the daily. Heck they sell althetics potions to let you move so fast you fly, also the levitation potions to actually control your flight. A acrobatics potion to jump all the way to where you want to go.

Man, I really wish I was in Morrowind they got it good over there.

This story was very touching. Makes me remember when I was younger and tried swimming to Morrowind. Weren't any slaughterfish back in my day. Could swim to my hearts desire. Then, more adventurers began moving to Tamriel, and the fish seemed to follow. No one saw them coming. Was so bad that people stopped swimming completely. Heck, no one even remembers how to hold their breath and swim underwater anymore. What a world.

IF you want to play in Morrowind you have to play Ebonheart Pact, I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to reach the zones unless you went back to the starter island and got lost....

I suspect that the OP Is referring to Vvardenfell. Tried swimming to there lately?

If you're referring to Vvardenfell, I mean, you do know that it needs to be build first, right?

And the slaughterfish, well, still better than swimming for ages until it says "You cannot go this way." like in Skyrim. But somewhere they had to set the borders for each zone, either way.
Even when you want to cross the water from Stormhaven to Bangkorai, you'll get a loading screen, they are not the same zone.
In the case of Vvardenfell, the slaughterfish will tell you that it doesn't exist yet, no loading screen, no "Balmora Discovered" message (which would be AWESOME to see one day, but afaik it didn't exist in the times of ESO yet).

If you did not refer to Vvardenfell, you need to play the Pact zones Stonefalls and Deshaan which are parts of Morrowind.

Brilliant OP, absolutely brilliant haha.

Also looking forward to Morrowind properly, i.e Vvardenfell which is where I came into the TES series, still play it every so often.

I was a bit disappointed in beta and early access not seeing Balmora or Caldera and Vivec City etc etc, but hopefully at some point in the next millennia it will be here lol

Random fact: The Inner Sea wasn't always there, and only became submerged after the War of the First Council, or the First Battle of Red Mountain - one of the times when Red Mountain erupted. Vvardenfell was a part of the mainland, e.g. you could walk from what's now known as Stonefalls to Vvardenfell. The same eruption that caused this, had also blotted out the sun for a whole year from all of the ash.

Wait fish kill you... wow Argonians don't take damage from them cause we are raised near them our whole life like Nords to the cold, I take it then you have not done the Vivic quest yet then poor guy

when ESO was announced,. I was wondering,. how they would make the great city of Vivec look like

the city I was lost in so many times as a young boy,. canals were a maze,. each quarter was a maze,. it seems the place had a arena,. but I never found it (mind that I had no internet back then to cross reference the game)

so there I was,. mailing Zenimax my info daily to get my beta key,. but I was no one important so I had to wait with the rest,. then it was finally January,. the first public beta weekend,. started on Bleakrock,.. (after the coldharbor intro) I opened my map,.. and I went running straight (West I believe it is) to the edge,.. I saw a dock,. I run on it,.. then I saw the water and I jumped in it,.. and I started swimming,. I remember me telling to myself,.. ''Great city of Vivec here I come''

and so I learned I couldn't swim to vardenfell,. and so I learned that only Coldharbor intro,. bleakrock and Stonefalls were the only zones available at the time and that basicly what I came to do during beta failed,.. then I met a great aussie with a very big mouth who was leading the EP zerg in cyrodiil,. but that is a different story for a different time

I remember this... it just made me want to go back even more. It was pleasing to hear Loremaster Schick say that they do intend to do it... not so pleasing to hear that it isn't currently on the slate.

Always thinking of this, when the topic of Vvardenfell crops up... I wish there was something done along the lines of a 4th Era Vvardenfell. Also of course looking forward to Skywind.
And yes Vvardenfell has to go into ESO. I know there is a lot of negotiations needed, to get the artistic property rights of a project that is basically 13 years old.
