For clarity, we don't discuss ToS investigations or the actions that are taken against a player's account, so we would not be able to reveal details on this specific investigation. Again, if you would like to report a player, the best way to do it is in-game with the report tool. If you feel you have run into an exploit, please either report the player in game, submit a ticket to customer support, or PM a forum administrator with as much information as you possibly can. We really do appreciate your concerns, and thank you for bringing stuff like this to our attention.

@ZOS_GaryA Nothing personal, but it took you guys over a month to ban a pair of cheating sorcs (we all know who I am talking about) and that is despite the many videos, screenshot, and threads dedicated to the subject of their cheating. We appreciate you guys eventually getting to it, but you can understand our frustration given the no doubt hundreds of tickets submitted over it.

And that was only TWO players... i've lost all faith in ZOS doing something positive for the game. Last patch fixed ultimate regen but also screwed it up.... lol

Yesterday my full raid encountered some red player (Azuras NA) who would NOT DIE despite the fact that all full raid was on top of him. There was no lag but everyone in TS saw his HP drop to 0% but he would not actually die. One of my group member took video of it and said he'd put it up (Hopefully ZOS doesnt pull the stupid naming and shaming s*** again) after hes done editing the name out. He is hesitant to even put it on forums since all ZOS ever does is close thread left and right claiming violations of CoC... HOW HELPFUL -_-

When i whispered that red player about it he said he was bugged. Its only a matter of time till people figure out how to replicate this "bug" or perhaps its too late and people are already doing it. I seriously doubt these people have any idea whats going on in their own game.

Do you believe that blizzard is an example of anti-bot company? Th game was full of bots the last 6 years and they did nothing.. only when blizzard started to sell gold took action to reduce the competition. They also believe to get money from some of them by buying a new game box and instant 90s.

Also the Ban was for 6 months not perma...anyway, there will always be bots in MMOs sadly and is the major reason i will play on console, cause there are no bots for ps4

People keep crediting ZOS for getting rid of the original bot problem at game launch. This is not the case really. Their choices in action did cause a reduction (minimal) of the Chinese/Russian trainer bots. But the ultimate equalizer actually was a mass exodus of player accounts from the game over a 4 month period for various reasons. That exodus drove the bots away to other games due to lack of potential income to be had.

The more obscure bots (ones that actually didn't run about in soul shriven gear), are still largely around. I see them often in game. And I can't be bothered to report them any longer due to two reasons:

1. Lack of actual action
2. Non disruption of my gaming experience

You will find these types of players in every online game. And the only company I've ever seen that got aggressive with gold sellers and bots was Turbine. You could literally watch a GM show up in minutes and goodbye cheater.

bans numbers in average for each realm connected with gold price

week ago or so there was a huge banwave of goldsellers in US

so the price up to $0.18-0.20 per 1000 gold
on EU prices still the same low as before - $0.10-0.13

so we can make a conclusion there is NO BANS ON EU

If I see one more "Scroll Delivery" in PvP I'm going to be sick. The amount of cheating that's frankly built right into the game, is enough that any idea of true competition is a joke.

Whoever you think is winning in PvP. It's a joke.

Whatever the map looks like.,...It's a joke.

Whoever has the most AP....It's a joke.

When some person logs into an alt and delivers a scroll to their buddies, relogs, and farms AP for hours to climb the leaderboards while the rest of the map falls, then uses that high position on the leaderboards as justification for bossing around the whole alliance....it's a joke.

The pvp in this game, fun as it is sometimes, is a joke.

I'm as disgusted with my own faction as any of the others.

Didnt see the bans making news when i played, sure saw plenty of bots stuck in the environment after farming a node ior getting there too late.

You were implying that it "took a website w/ over 200k sub till something happened", and I pointed out the fallacy of that statement. These ban waves have been going on periodically for quite a long time.

Yes, in a game that has literally millions of players, there are still bots around on every server. Does that mean that they haven't done anything? That they haven't tried?

No, it doesn't mean that at all. It just means that they are still continuing to combat the issue, and that it's a problem that is tougher than many seem to understand.

BUT, at least they are still trying, and in a visible manner. ESO has a FAR smaller player base and even w/ dozens of reports for the same players, the problems don't seem to be addressed. At all. Those same cheaters are still running around doing exactly what they've been doing the whole time, and this is discouraging for those who have to put up w/ them.

And the best response that ZOS has given in response is: "Yeah, we might do something about this... maybe. But if we do, we won't tell anyone about it anyway, so nobody will ever know".

It's this stance that makes players distrust that any actions are even taking place at all.

Earlier on this yesterday evening, funny thing happened while I was on a alt in Glenumbra.

A person said in zone after a while of yapping that he came on ESO cos he got a 6 month ban on WoW, and made out that his "friend" made it happen.

Probably gonna get a lot more coming over to ESO since their accounts have been banned for 6 months.
