Haha, it's like a dk of the very old days - jump into zerg, kill 5 guys before dying. Just much more efficient

There was like 12-15 people there, never a zerg. Half a raid of unorganized pugs maybe. Still that combo has some nice burst in choke points, not many nb's doing it though.

It's a trick, and not useful beyond when he doesn't have his ulti up.

I've heard of a DC NB doing the same thing, with the same result after the bomb goes off -- death. Saw him try this a couple times last night near the EP scroll temple and gate and yeah, 1-3 would die and then so would Sypher.

And it only works when their guard is down. A team with barriers up, heals going out, et al, tanks it and then still kills him.

@Agrippa_Invisus This build has little sustain or survivability it's very niche and it's built to gank 1-3 players or be a part of a group so it's not focused down. I've just been having some fun with it running into groups and hoping for the best.

@Juraigr I've been playing a vamp Stam DK and posted a vid and streamed with it as well many times. I'm confused as to why my lack of playing DK should concern you though :P

After watching the vid I felt so bad for not having shade on my bar. I'll probably drop harness for it.

I was part of the DC group you jumped into. Didn't die, of course, but I'd like to comment that using soul tether stun followed by proximity detonation does not make one a skilled player. Just my two cents...

Am i going to receive an apology from the people who think im making it up that magicka nbs got insane burst? Probably not go ahead and keep telling me how much better stamina is, right... And no the existence of nirnhoned doesn't make me wrong because that is a different issue all together. A youtuber made a video about it now just wait, this is going to get out of hand.

Anyway, back on track, it was a well devised jump you performed. I have to give you kudos for waiting until DC was on the inner wall repair duty before you revealed yourself. Not many players have the patience or the tenacity to pull such things off. /thumbsup

For all the one shot mechanics / builds in the game currently, I'm quite ok with something like this. It's VERY situational, not something you can continuously use.

I'm more concerned about the current NB insta kill mechanics.

Best use of Prox Det I've seen still, has got to be a sorc. Not sure what he did for empower, but he ported into our group, did two or three heavy daamge fire rings, and then the det went off. 17 or 18k det, and we were all dead at his feet. It was great timing on his part, and insane burst.

And with his shields, he survived.

Yeeeep. I'd name the Sorc, but I don't want to get another "stop or get banned" notice from the admins for "naming and shaming". Although frankly, I don't know what shame there is in saying a sorc gibbed the *** out of your group solo by using his abilities wisely. 18k dets through good resistances? That was some sexy stuff right there.
