    I think the lack of complexity spawns from input of players that are focused on powerleveling a new character to get into PvP as soon as possible. Some players don't have much time during a secession and they may feel as if they are having their time wasted. I can understand that but the game has to provide some kind of median.


    This 100%....kids these days are impatient and have spawned a generation of "On Demand" gamers. I come from the era of EverQuest where I think after 2 years I was still only like level 56. Now everything is about instant gratification.

    I agree we need more/better puzzles. That's one of the things I really like about TSW. It's got puzzles that range from childishly easy to "I think I just became an archeologist."

    You have to be almost cripplingly unobservant not to notice the mass stacks of hints every single puzzle comes with.
    I remember being disappointed in one quest that said 'match artifacts with the right crypts'... Go into one crypt and its covered in shields, and something labelled like an 'Iron Giant Anvil'. Even the densest person could see that I should put the Iron Giant Shield d-- oh you're going to automatically place that for me, so I don't have to think of even this most obvious of connections?
    The ivory inside the crypt covered with tusks?
    The sword inside the crypt etc etc?
    All done for me so I don't even have to look at the room I'm standing in?

    ...alright, then.
    The crypts even came equipped with ghost guardians at the door, which was probably where you were supposed to get the hints from. Filling the crypts with all those additional tokens were sledgehammer-clues.

    I imagine the quests are being handled by different people, because for every quest where the correct options are automatic, there's a quest with an Argonian dungeon where you have to read through books, and remember three weird names like Atunzel, Murkwil, Whatsitdohicky, and arrange their icons appropriately.
    They still allow you to change your mind and provide immediate feedback if you're right or wrong, which I think it good, since people who can't be bothered to think it through can still solve it through repeated trial.
