GUILD BANKS!!!!

Ok seriously, the stacking bug in the guild banks has been in the game since launch...

Will it ever be fixed because it gets annoying spending an hour a day just taking everything out (Because you can't stack them in the guild bank) stacking them in your inventory, then putting them back in.

Please, it is really getting annoying.

To be honest, I suspect the reason this bug hasn't been fixed has to do with the way their database handles simultaneous requests from multiple users. If I'm right about that, then the fix would potentially be a huge undertaking.

Not a bug. It was made that way on purpose because of a bug with stacks and duping in guild bank if I remember correctly.

It's not even a bug. It was implemented to stop a dupe glitch. so, yes. It's about how the system handles requests.

That's the bug he's talking about. The 'fix' for that bug was to disable guild bank auto-stacking. That's really just a stop-gap, though, it's not a true fix. If what I suspect is true, an actual true fix may be next to impossible to implement.

You misunderstand what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about how the guild bank handles requests, I'm talking about how the underlying database handles simultaneous requests on the same entry by multiple users. Most DBs will lock a record while it is in use by one user in order to avoid having multiple contradictory updates performed on that record. There are various ways to allow multiple users to access the same record simultaneously, but they often result in unexpected and unintended consequences. The guild bank duping seems to me like it could be a result of just such circumstances. If I'm right, then they will most likely never fix that bug, as a true fix would require a significant overhaul of their DB.

As @UrQuan said, use Roomba, absolutely fantastic, been using it for ages and ages.

New version sorts your personal bank/inv space as well.
