Should Cyrodiil map rotate based on faction?

I started playing on AD and thought the map was fine. Most maps are based from bottom to top.
But when I tried another faction I saw I was on the side and it just bugs me.
I know its based on the actual map of Tamriel but it just bugs me.
Am I the only one?

For one time i (DC) want the zergaction between sejanus/blue or sejanus bridge

I don't believe he meant for the keeps and outposts to be rotated, but the map itself.

IE; If you're on DC your gates would be south then EP north-west and AD north-east.

Yes thats what I mean. Just the map so no matter what faction you are on it shows your gate and starting locations at the bottom. Then you can move up from there.

Right but it feels like im going backwards when I play other factions. I don't know. It is probably just me lol. Maybe I need an addon

Proper maps orient north. Only "arcade game" maps orient in "enemies this way"...

I find the cyrodil maps easy to use no matter what faction I am - though I guess I mostly am visiting cyrodil on my pact mains, so... I'd say, yes, its just you!

I just don't like that bridges are AD/EP exclusive. They should break it up.

Regarding map rotation, would muck people up even further my shuffling things around, IMO.

AD/EP might have bridge action but DC has gates that can be protected more efficiently

Maps face north.... It's based on Tamriel geography. I like it as is, but I don't see why an option or addon to change the rotation would hurt anyone.

I play mostly EP and starting on the NE corner doesn't bother me at all. Rotating based on faction would be terribly confusing. I'd be like "which way is Burma again?"

Recently I encountered a map on a college campus that was aligned with South on the top, because you were facing south when looking at the map.

I looked at it for a second and was like, wtf is this?

Maps should always align North--South.

It took me a while to get used to my AD toon, as my main 2 are EP. Only realized it when i was heading to the enemy keep in the direction based on EP side to find out that I've arrived at my own keep.
Would i want it to rotate? Nah that'll confuse me even more, it doesn't take that long to adjust.

Another thought:

Since ALL the maps in the game have north up, if you rotate Cyrodiil, you would have to rotate the respective zone maps for that faction and that would be totally confusing.
