And think, it's rated the same as ESO. Wtf? ESO is and should be E for everyone in Elementary school.
As well as every Pole. Well, all except me, because my PC had trouble even with TW2 and I haven't upgraded it since.Every russian will play Witcher 3

I tried The Secret World and found it kind of boring and the movement not very fluid. I may go back to GW2.
So far my list of MMOs people have recommended after I escape Tamriel is:
LOTRO - if you hated the secret world animations, you will despise this game. crafting interdepencies can be frustrating. you will never fight another player of the same class in pvp, it's is PVMP - monster play.
SWTOR - pvp here is limited to themed arenas. great single player experience, especially right now as with a sub you can level entirely through the main story. faction balance issues means that without a premade, pvp can be frustrating. raiding is not particularly challenging, and when you consider the game is over 3 years old really does not have all that much endgame content.
Rift - underrated game. great pvp. great and hard raiding. no soul - story is aimless. you do not feel attached to your character. without a solid and social guild, most people leave after the first month.
EQ2 - a relic. you will need 089790790978 hotkeys to perform adequately. there are more classes than raid slots, which really limits what you can play. as with all pve focused mmorpgs, pvp here is mostly an unbalanced joke.
GW2 - pvp only. there are no carrots in pve except those which are aesthetic in nature. the pvp is 2nd only to an entry down the list.
Neverwinter Online - cash grab for perfect world. early exploiting of the diamond market ruined the economy and it has never recovered (on pc anyway). I haven't played that character since 3 months after it launched and my account is sitting on 67 million astral diamonds. Anyone who plays the game now can tell you that us old folks that worked that system over own the economy of that game. new players can never catch up.
FFXIV - if one of your issues with eso is the vr grind, going to ANY Asian mmorpg is not going to give you a better experience. It's not a bad game, but its endgame is also lacking and not accessible for those without stupid amounts of free time or well established, active guilds.
Path of Exile - you may as well have added eve online to the list if you are including this game. spreadsheet and calculator required. as with diablo 3 and marvel heroes, this game is all about grinding the same few maps over and over.
Diablo 3 - not a bad game to play now and then, but most folks play it for a month or two then do something else. the pursuit of set pieces can be extremely frustrating. I have spent 27,000 blood shards on helms and have yet to see a mask of jeiram for my witch doctor as an example.
Dark Age of Camelot - still the best rvr game on the planet. you will need to join an established guild. pve is mostly an afterthought here but can be rewarding. long term players all have second accounts with buffbots.
Darkfall - don't waste your time here. you want to talk about broken promises in eso? these guys make zenimax look like never-fibbing Vulcans.
Tera - Korean. Korean = grinding. Does it say westernized? They lied. Goofy, over-the-top animations without any of the meat of 2h combat in this game. Want to shoot things as a panda with a purple glowing gun that looks like the shoulder mounted Predator cannon is suffering from a tumor? this is the game for you.
Archage - more broken promises. still Korean. still a grinder. still 90% bots, gold sellers and exploiters.
and talk of a Dark Souls MMO to come. - which will still be Asian ie. heavy, heavy grind.
Or hell, I might just start reading more again. I remember books. Anyone else remember books?

tried the first witcher...am a long time gamer, and I just didn't understand it. Didn't feel like a game. Maybe they're different now, but after about an hour of messing around with it, I was confused and just stopped
