Well to be fair, as current tech clearly cannot handle what we have anyway, then a specific server for pc/console would be ok, still good for varying things.

Not because anyone at ZOS doesn't want it to happen, but because the developers of the consoles (Microsoft and Sony) will, and most likely already have, refuse to allow it. Players like you, ganking new players, to spoil their experience and make poor, sad little you feel good, are a good reason not to allow cross-platform playing.

they could make a campaign that was controller only so it matched people using controllers on pc (when controller support comes out !) with people playing on console. this would stop the ganking, or they could make a console only campaign so console players had the choice to get ganked or not. :-)

Relevance is a double edged sword.

And I disagree, even the weakest skilled player on PC arguably can wipe a console player any day, it was tried on a FPS called Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 I think it was, a so called elite Xbox team against a weak PC team, and the PC team pwned them so hard, they rage quit.

Slightly unrelated and irrelevant but if you are gonna say about skill on 2 forms of control then consider the fact that KB/Mouse out performs on so many levels a controller on certain types of game, not sure about MMOs, but in FPS and other game genres then the KB/Mouse combo wins hands down.

Gaming grade mice with decent dpi and a hand trained to it can be incredibly accurate, compared to analogue auto aim controller., even a noob on pc could wipe a controller using player on that level.

So as I reiterated, it is fact that a KB/Mouse is better than controller, not my opinon, but actual gaming fact.

I would love all console gamers and PC gamers on the same server for PvP if all problems were fixed and game stability was good for all concerned, cos I know for a fact who would be top dogs there.

Brodog, if you think Zenimax doesn't want cross platform you are nuts. You might have noticed the games you mentioned have something in common, a little company called Sony, you know the guys that own Playstation.

This isn't a decision Zenimax can make. If you really want this to change speak directly to the companies that can make it happen, Sony and Microsoft.

lol so much this. Also mouse and keyboard ftw. They tried cross-platform play with Shadowrun, and they will never make that mistake again.

Consoles are using same controls anyways (keyboard and mouse).

Some friends of mine (Not belonging to the masterrace) are very glad that they can now play ESO. Sadly we can't share our time together.
