Is Dark Cloak supposed to be working right now?

IO stopped using the cloak skills some months ago while they were 'officially' broken. I recently have been trying them in PvP and PvE and it appears that guards and PvP players can pretty much see straight through cloak (i.e. I can cloak several times ins successions and still be hit by single target abilities).

So is the skill supposed to be fixed with ZOS in denial but still broken? Or is it still officially broken with ZOS admitting it and working on a fix? Or is there another explanation?

There are potions to see invisible players.
Fighters Guild's Expert Hunter passive reveals invisible vamps and WWs as well.

Ambush, flame lash can hit you even when perfect stealth. Do not know if the lag helps, but those are the skills that can hit me when cloaked and roll dodging or normal stealth. Sometimes it does not hit though ^^

Cloak is very useful in PvP and I would advice to use it.

edit: If you have some distance to your enemy the cloak tend to work better

My friend claims he can shield charge cloaked players as well. As long as he's already targeted them.....but even if he hasn't begun to use the skill until after they cloak....he can effectively pull them out of cloak/target them with a shield charge. Not sure if true....but I feel like I've been on the receiving end of this a few times.

I'd say it's definitely supposed to be working.
If it actually does I can't say since I don't use it anymore.

It's not potions.

In PVP I routinely get hit by even Light attacks after cloaking.

Lag related? Probably...

Pretty much anything that's a charge or cast time will still hit and knock out of stealth.

Shield Charge.
Critical Charge
Lethal Arrow

It's fun to chase other NB and just spam Lethal or Charge.. but seriously.. needs fixed.

Since I'm probably leaving anyway, I don't mind sharing a tip.

Because players will automatically activate skills thay may pull you out of cloak when you use it....follow up cloak with a roll-dodge and then recloak. That should throw them off their rhythm and let you escape.

Unless you're lagging you @ss off, which is pretty often, then it doesn't matter. Just spam AoE and try to farm AP (the only point to pvp at this point anyway).

99% of the time my dark cloak invisibility lasts less than a second. I'm not hit by anything, but I immediately lose it. This only happens when in combat, but I'm NOT taking damage. Kind of makes the skill lose it's purpose.

This has happend to me on a few occasions, I were though positive it was the lag, but if not

Crushing shock, lightning heavy att (still sometimes), ambush/teleport strike, flame lash, suprise/conceled and probably more - breaks cloak.. GJ ZOS after 1 year is still not fixed..
