Not sure if this is for the bear traps regarding mantikora, or if that was something from yesterday. So what is going on today? & Why did I just download 5gb's?

    Its probably just upcoming stuff for the crownstore, like deadric named weapons and powerful magic spell scrolls.

    I'm not getting any patch when checking for updates with the launcher...

    Exploits suck. Don't blame just the game, blame the players abusing them!

    I just opened the launcher, no update here, also the last patch was not that big. This is odd..

    The PTS just patched yesterday, but that was not 5GB.

    Maybe you just have not opened your launcher in a week. Or, you chose the repair option.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Im betting it was the PTS, had this happen to me yesterday, logged in and I was the only one in the world and had no add ons, was very confused for a moment lol! Sometimes when there is an update on the PTS it will be the one highlighted on your launcher.

    Yeah, and because the French apparently need each byte repeated several times, the French version of the patch is like 4x larger. No idea why the size difference.

    Besides the trolling no one would have an answer. We would know only if they posted the information via a banner of info at the top of the page or a thread.

    Also, understand there was a PTS PC patch yesterday.

    If it's not the PTS, your launcher may also just be patching up a corrupted file. That happens sometimes.
