This game needs more blood...

In Oblivion when you slashed enemies blood would come out, and puddles of blood would land on the floor. That was a T game at one point!
In Skyrim when you slashed enemies blood would come out, and puddles of blood would land on the floor. There were also decapitations. That game was rated M
In ESO when you slashed enemies blood would come out, but no blood lands on the floor, walls or anything! This game is rated M, but it's even less violent than Oblivion!

ZOS please make this game more bloody, or remove the M rating for goodness sake! Make blood land on the ground or walls when enemies get slashed at.

If not, can someone make a blood add-on to this game?

The game cover says M, but it is really a T game at heart!

You can't create a blood add-on, as that affects more than the ui. I definitely would like the game to be more violent and bloody, as it really affects the atmosphere. This is an Elder Scrolls game, violence belongs in it.

Lots of bloodsplatter would probably cause alot of lag and increased loading times. No one want's that.

If they make it a client-side graphic only it shouldn't affect load times significantly. It's only a texture after all, as far as I understand it should be less demanding than armour textures and spell effects. I could be wrong though.

UI is flat textures right?

Maybe if they make the blood splatter a UI icon, rotate in a way so it looks like its part of the ground at the right angle. And make it appear at the right time that could work?

There's plenty of questionable content not suited for those immature teens:
Husbands having affairs with spider demons over lost t goats,
attraction to vampires and ghosts bordering necro-philia,
violence against khajiit and argonians is some type of animal cruelty,
Khajiit riding senche and tigers is some kind of slavery,
Men riding into battlefields in their wedding dresses and most of them don't have that posterior slider maxed out to pull it off

The lack of graficness in the violence vexes me too, sometimes. Especially in those quests where an NPC is supposed to be "badly wounded", but merely sits on the floor, with undamaged clothes, free of all bloodstains... I want some wear and tear when it fits the story! If some are "wounded", they should look the part, have slashed armor and blood all over them!

And the next logical step would be to give us more of the same for our figting as well.

Weapon finisher moves have also been mentioned in prior threads, but that too is something the game could use - who doesn't want to see the occasional decapitation when they take down some mob with a nice sword strike? We have them for elemental/magic damage after all... why not bloody versions for the weapon damage as well?

It would all be client side, so not that much lag to add, it could be toggled off for those who don't like this...

Asking ZOS to remove the M rating is pointless. ZOS doesn't rate the game, the ESRB does so ZOS has absolutely NO control over that rating.

Do I care to see blood on the ground... meh whatever doesn't affect gameplay so I'd rather see resources put to better use to be honest. That said, since the game has an M rating it would be good to see them make use of it having an M rating and throw in some weapon finishers as @TheShadowScout suggested above me.

True, but we do want more gore, I miss cutting heads off with my 2H sword in Skyrim ( not even a mod! ). If only Zo$ could code better then a french monkey from canada.

Ravendex AOC PVP on fury was the bomb. Crom server is just minis and a few events now. But the gore was awesome especially the barbarian finishers. with axes or great axe. We still have a large guild presence there and crom is going strong. Topless people still run around. I think its a total of three servers now. they moved crom to the states. Lag is non existent. Sometimes it hits 230 on the ping. The combo and combat system is unmatched. But it too has its issues.
