ANIMATIONS & COSTUMES (BUGS/GLITCHES)

Hi, this is my first time posting in the forums so forgive me if I post in the wrong place.

Has anyone else noticed that certain animations don't do what they are supposed to do. Take magelight/inner light for example, there should be a glowing bauble that revolves around the player but instead there is no bauble but you get glowing hands and a glowing face like a glow worm like the bauble is inside your face, lol. It can be really annoying when your character does not look the way you want it to after you spent time customizing it. (See the attached image) [img][/img]dew5zc.jpg

This brings me to my next point about the costumes. I am low level and the gear looks awful so I purchased the Lion Guard Elite costume from the crown store. This worked fine for a while with no problems then all of a sudden it started disappearing and reverting to my standard equipped gear. So I equip the Lion Guard costume I bought, go into battle, it disappears, mostly when I die, but sometimes not. Or if I have it equipped then enter a dungeon instance, it removes the costume. This should not be happening and it is really annoying having to re-equip a costume every time you die or enter a dungeon or enter a battle. It's quite frustrating. When you open collections and costumes, it shows the item to be equipped but it doesn't show on your character, so you have to put it away then put it back on. Annoying.

Has anyone else had these issues? It's a small issue but one that needs to be addressed especially as a paid for item that doesn't work properly.

Actually I'm honestly really happy when I can't see that darned disco ball when using mage light. I took the Inner Light morph originally because I was HOPING that would make the disco ball go away and just leave my character with the glowing eyes and the swirling light around the hands, which are SUPPOSED to be part of the animation. But yes, when it isn't there this is apparently a bug and one that has been around a good long time.

As to costumes, these will also bug out your werewolf transformation and leave your character looking REALLY weird. The problems you describe about getting them to remain equipped are also well known. This is why I won't buy any of the darned things.

I kind of like the glowing "disco ball" lol. It looks more 'magical' for lack of a better word and as a magic type character, it fits perfectly. (Or it should). But having it not there and instead inside my character's face making it glow looks ridiculous.

As for the costumes and the problems with them remaining equipped. I wish I had known that before purchasing it because now I feel like I wasted money because right now I am not even using it because it will simply just disappear again only to have me go back and re-equip it over and over in an endless cycle.

I understand your frustration, believe me. However, the glowing eyes/face while using Mage Light is, in fact, the part that is working as intended. The part that is glitched is the disappearance of the disco ball.

Yes, same issues with another purchased costume (no matter which costume is used), it disappears when in fight.
I wrote a ticket about it some weeks ago.

First I was thinking it was related to when an ability or a set proc an effect or to Caltrops, then I tried using different sets and skills but it still happens.
Opening the collections, the costume still appears on, as you wrote.

I asked some guildies and sometimes they said me they were seeing the costume, so maybe it's something client side.
I tried to repair and do the usual stuff when there is a problem with client but it still happens.

Could you please forward it to the team if it's not a know issue?
Otherwise, do you have more info about it?

There is a setting under video that gets rid of your magelight ball. It is the second to the last thing under Graphics and is called "Magelight Lighting" Your selection on this setting could be what you are referring to as a bug. Anyway it gets rid of the annoying orbitting ball for me so I am happy.

Is there any update on the disappearing crown store costumes while equipped?

Strange - I have never had any issues with any of my costumes with any of my characters. I didn't realize this was even an issue.

I hope they can isolate the problem and get it fixed for those who are affected. Otherwise, people won't be buying their costumes any more or will just be frustrated when they have spent the money for items that don't work properly.
