Item Sets Scale off of Highest Stat?

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom Can you please elaborate on this? What exactly does this mean?

•All item sets now scale off your character’s highest stats, just like Ultimate abilities.

I wrote the bonuses from my Armor set down, and then reset my stats to see what would change, but no matter how I set my stats nothing changed on the set.

What "item sets" does this refer to?

Anyone have any ideas what the heck this is talking about, something not so vague perhaps?

Some sets trigger damage\heal and most used to be hard coded so that damage\heals would scale based on your magica pool.

Now it will scale from stamina or magica, depending on which is higher. So its now great for stamina based builds

Armor stats is not effected
Tooltips are not effected. You need to review the combat logs.

I have a stamina build Templar, and when I reset my attributes, nothing changed on my set. Out of 4 different values not one thing changed. No matter where I put my points, Health, Stamina, Magicka, once locked in the set did not change.

I tried this several times.

They were not talking about those "add x stamina" or "add x Magicka regeneration", they were talking about those effects that actually triggered an attack or effect, I believe it mostly affected those Undaunted Helm/Shoulder sets.

Damage or heals which proc from set now scale with the higher stat (magicka or stamina). The tooltip doesn't change. You need a combat log to check the difference.

Just dropped sets or crafted too. Things such as Song of Lamae that do damage to attacker?

I believe all sets, but I didn't test it.
