If they did insert children into the game, they'd have to explain, why you can't kill children.

Nothing would have to be explained beyond a statement of "We don't want players killing children". There wouldn't have to be some sort of lore explanation, if that's what you're getting at.

IT is also OBVIOUS that none of you have ever played anything other then skyrim, because ONLY skyrim had children, none of the other games ever had children.
Well someone obviously never played the games before Morrowind, because this is untrue.

bah, they were not a common sight, and were incredibly rare.

have none of you pepole ever hear of gameplay and story segregation? OBVIOUSLY there are children in the world, you would be stupid to believe that just because they are not in-game that they do not exist. IT is also OBVIOUS that none of you have ever played anything other then skyrim, because ONLY skyrim had children, none of the other games ever had children. They are not in game because obviously they woud not be killable, and would be invincable just like in skyrim, which is just as "unrealistic" as not having them.

Once they were added in Skyrim they set a precedence. Same with followers.

nope, if that were true, then everyone would be complaining about everything in all the games. every Elder scrolls games has A LOT of differences. No one complains anymore that you cannot explore all of tamriel in any game but arena, but that precedent was set in that game. you were able to ride horses in daggerfall, not in morrowind, you were able to travel by silt strider in morrowind, but not in oblivion.

Calion's one of the few "children" in ESO, and after doing that quest, I'm kind of glad there aren't more kids around. I would probably want to smack that attitude right off their faces.

But Laniriel's pregnant, so it happens. Children just aren't relevant to the game the same way that dogs and monkeys and fireflies are. And if there were kids in ESO some people would want to play as the children models which would make Mannimarco just that more evil, really.

Maybe he is, though. Maybe he did.

    You'r wrong.
Fallout 2 with child killing went out in 1998.
Bethesda with their Fallout3 were unable to do anything with "don't kill children" law.
Really, i don't know foreign laws about that type of "scenes of violence".
If they did implement this in F3, they'd have lost a big part of european players(customers).

But, as it said before, there was no lore point to implement children in TES. This question about children in TESO Live was a provocation.

What am I wrong about? I didn't comment on thr history of child killing in games, just that they would simply have to say "Because we dont want players in eso killing kids" and it's true, that's all they would need to say.
