Should each race get its own active ability

I've been thinking that it would be nice if each race had its own active ability instead of just only racial passives. It might add a unique flavour to combat.

Maybe but it would need to have thorough testing to make sure it doesn't become a pay to win scenario

Just for clarification, the pay to win scenario would be the Imperial race getting something completely OP

    Depends on the execution.

I don't want them touching that concept though until they prove they can get passives right.
If they can't even balance the passives of the races, I don't want to see their attempt at creating new abilities for those races.

I believe there was some discussion of racial abilities during the beta, but this idea was scrapped. Not sure why.
"Things which are alike in nature grow to look alike, and the speaking stones have lain a long time lookin' at the sun. Some believe they descend with the lightning, but I believe they are on the ground and are projected downward by the bolt."

Active abilities like in TES III-V games.

Already people are remaking toons just to get the 'best' passive. Adding theses skills will make races even more important when they should be just 'fluff'.

I prefer to remove all race passives.

I'm saying no because then you'd have to add another button to the UI

If it is approached as old TES titles managed them (ie; really long cool downs) this could add enough flavor AND fluff to make a race stand out without adding too much power for no reason.
Same racial Actives were usable once a game day (every few hours).
One racial active to affect one battle every few hours wouldn't hurt much, however much more deliberation and critical thinking will need to be applied to this suggestion before I solidify my stance.

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

I think it would be great, as I explain in this short Rantosaurus video, I'm all in favour of RACIAL ULTIMATES

Waste of Zenimax time. If they make them weak noone will use them since we're already very restricted with our total of max 10 skills.
If they make one or a few of them too strong, that particular skill will be required for some builds, and force us to reroll just to get it.
